There are alot of licensed IP games that can't be sold anymore because of expired license deals. Heck, Alan Wake was unavailable for purchase for awhile because music licenses expired.

Hey, they probably still can though it's not as easy given they need the permissions from the guest character's owner(s). Though, I don't know how happy people would be that PlayStation players would have their own exclusive character again. I mean, NRS could do the same for Xbox, PC, and Nintendo to make it even but I feel like that might just be too much work.

Like 90% of his fights in the show and the comics is either him lasering people apart, punching them once (wherein they immediately die) or just brutalising them off-screen.

My best bet, they gonna utilize some Superman, Zod, and Supergirl moves before, twist it a bit to become completely new for both Homelander and Omni-Man. Then again, we already have guest character who never truly fight like a martial arts/action star. Remember Jason in MKX? At that time, people legit question how Jason will work, they keep throwing say he is slow, just a big guy who carry a machete, nothing cool. NRS just straight up prove them wrong. Even the gimmick of Jason make people fright or him appear out of nowhere in Friday the 13th franchise, is convert into a gameplay aspect of him. They can always pull it. It just a matter of whether we gonna like their gameplay or not, that all.

Mortal Kombat is the game that made me realize how strange the letter C is in English. Highly unlikely because guest character was meant to be exclusive for one installment. That what make them special, as we seen in other fighting games as well. Not to mentioned the whole deal and copyright stuff the dev need to do everytime they wanted to use this guest. So it is very very highly unlikely they gonna go through all that shit again for the same character. Might as well just go for brand new one. The only way it can happen again if the moment they strike a deal, one of the conditions is they can use it again, probably just one time again for another new installment, but that was a big if

@@zackattack8064 exactly! Smash had tons of guest characters in the past, but they were able to bring them all back for another game. So they can pull that off, then surely NRS could at some point. And I am well aware of all the legal stuff, but at the end of the day, everything is negotiable

@@ultimatefanboy4060 Smash is massively different tho. Most non Nintendo characters in Smash are from companys which have been partners with Nintendo for many years. The only 2 which were kinda iffy were Snake and Cloud because of their terrible creators, i assume the only reason these 2 are in Smash is because of a heafty sum they payed. However licencing for movies and shows is way more expensive, and a lot trickier, while yes not impossible it is very unlikely that all of them will return in the same game together.

It would be pretty cool if they added other comic characters into Kombat Pack 2. Deadpool & The Punisher would be great additions, I'm also hearing Doom Slayer and Harley Quinn might be added to the roster.
