Prob bc they wanted to get a more balanced MP due to the new addition (faster ttk for all weapons and slower movement speed) so just camping in a spot and use the MG will prob be too op

@@Daiman01 Unfortunately it's because of copyrights, we're in a different time now where even they can't use real world firearms names (and many other reasons). Nobody, especially Activision wants to be sued by an Aircraft manufacturer that builds Attack helicopters for the world let alone other manufacturers.

CoD has come a long way since the original Modern Warfare series, but one area Activision hasn't improved on are killstreaks. They've remained the same year after year that any excitement had before calling in the thousandth chopper gunner or AC-130 gunner has dulled out. I wasn't the biggest fan of the futuristic CoDs, but they at least got the killstreaks right. They were interesting, upgradable, and fun to use. I do hope they bring back the killstreak upgrade system to MWIII.

Well, at the very least, they kept the gunship somewhat up to date. The IRL AC-130J is the currently in-service gunship with all other variants being retired, ordinance is the GAU-23A 30mm, and the GAU-XX 105mm, but it can also deploy various air-to-ground missiles and bombs. The 40mm they're using is currently not equipped on the new AC-130J Gunships. Previous variants had serious issues with recoil. That's why the GAU-25E is no longer in use, the GAU-XX alone causes the airframe to shift 6 feet in the opposite direction with every round fired. The GAU-25E would quite literally tilt the aircraft in the opposite direction.

I still think MW2019 did it better for the killstreaks. They felt like they had more punch in some aspects. And the White Phosphorus made you feel like a God cuz everyone’s day was gonna get fucked up the second that Su-25 flew in😂
