random little note acure wired lance's potential turns your heavenly drop pa in a beefed up version of it by making it so that it consumes all of your focus (at max focus only) when using it with lazers coming down from the sky giving it an aoe effect

@@undying1177 I just tried it and even one with 240k and they both gave me 8 slots! This is great info. What about normal appraisal!? What is the meseta amount for those do you know? I have some that are like 4K etc

@@joeresio I highly doubt those do but I always noticed the ones around 5 to 7k might give 8 slot more consistently didn't notice which one is guaranteed

This was incredibly helpful! I forgot all about the enhanced appraisal and definitely squandered 2 rainbow items I picked up on normal appraisal T_T but they didn't turn out too bad and I'm actually using 1 of them while leveling my Etoile since the augments were decent. I also couldn't figure out how to complete those Zig quests so I didn't take them. You always share great info and your videos have helped me navigate all the little ins and outs of PSO2, so thanks very much!

Hmm I thought the zig thing was common knowledge since it a quest, but If I may the trick of slots thing actually comes from the counter lady, she'll make a comment saying "wow, this weapon has some hidden potential" something like that. along with cost is almost like 90% chance of it being high in slots now plz note this from personal experience and the experience of my alliance who gave me this tid bit and I have to say that it has been at best like 90% accurate as I've only had a small handful not be high in slots

Firstly, I have to say thanks for sharing the information in your videos, I haven't been playing long, but they've been very helpful. After seeing this video during maint today the first thing I did was make them and after doing 2 runs of the Christmas map, almost all of the weapons I picked up were over 200k even the greys during identification.

I believe if you select a weapon in either appraisal and Dudu/Monica comment on it having great potential, that tells the weapon has a higher chance at more slots, even more so than the price.

In my experience, this mainly notes the Stat V skills present in weapon (Might V, Spirit V, etc). There's alot that were just 5-6 slot weps.

Correct me if i'm wrong but... isn't the enhanced appraisal only making the rare drop be rank 2 instead of 1? Since that's probably not an affix most people keep anyway, is there a real detriment to using normal appraisal here?

Enhanced appraisal upslots the weapon by +1 (Guaranteed) and (this bit im not sure on) gives a chance for higher quality rolls on those slots from my understanding. It's not just the Luck affix at the bottom. If that was the case this would have been known a long time ago on jp and no one would use the enhanced appraisal.

I tend to run only Nyoibo as Vraolet might affect the drops on units which I might need and I had lower drops with Vraolet in the past from my experience. However I may consider running with that as well in the future. Is there a correct pronounciation for Nyoibo though?

Currently its just a waste of money to use enchaced appraisal since even the 15* are not bis and are only worth for the materials, enchance and normal dont affect number of slots, only the quality of the augments, like a casting 3 has a higher chance do be a casting 4-5 and so on... So if what you want is a higher number of slots, enchanced appraisal is useless for that. BTW, this is old news, you should've made this video in the episode 5 update when this feature came up...

Farm solo PD. Triggers are dirt cheap from the badge shop and you can get between 30-50 excubes per run since 10-12 stars drop in massive amounts from it and all of those can be turned into ex-cubes.
