Before the bug, hunter is an unskippable custence of invincibility and just watching numbers go brr. Hardly any player interaction outside of "swing first, bruh". The bug utilized one of the most vulnerable moves in partisan's kit, forcing more of a high-risk, high-reward dps rotation. Now there's no skill required, thus, a boring class.

@@kingandros4819 honestly, they all play the same, just with different animations. Every class is designed around counters, spamming invincibility, and button mashing in general. Hunter is the only twist to that playstyle, and to say otherwise just shows how invaluable your opinion is, because you can't even admit a poor design choice the majority of those classes have

First of all, you're the only player in the community right now who thinks hunter deals trash damage. Secondly, I *talk with* partisans that solo purple triggers regularly, like gp173, and Hazel Valentine, just to name the *youtubers* ; In fact, all you have to do is add "hunter" to the end of your search to find an entire roster of purple trigger solos *eve. For stia region* , if you won't take *my* channel's interpretation. On the argument of hunter having the most s, that's only natural, as the slowest class in the game, on top of how those s have to be triggered, which is learning whole boss patterns just to even get a concept of timing. You don't need timing with katana: just spam your weapon action if you see suspicious movement. And what is it with you and this dagger/knuckle combo, which is OFFENSIVELY boring, if you wanna talk about playstyles? I think you're just one of my stalkers playing off as a random KZbin hater

the only thing that makes me not play is how PSO2 will bum the shit out of you just for a buck or 2, shit i love the game but it does fuck you over with all the shit it makes you pay for. so if a game makes up a problem then asks you to pay for the fix there game is not worth playing even when its good (this is after 300+ hours on the game)

I used to fly around with twin daggers, or blight round cancel. I also remember using that partisan mechanic you are using here. I do like games where there's discovery and tough to use mechanics like Soaring Blades double counter Blades Arts Parry Sidestep Counter. Even though some things get patch out, there's always something new to do/discover. Now I love removing slow fall charge on the skill trees of any class that uses charge PAs. Then while falling you add in Encore Jump to add more DPS while still charging making my techer's PA dps go from 300's with the PA alone to 500's in frame data combining encore jump into the mix. Back in the day with games like Melee where more and more mechanics are discovered and used competitively, we were used to that. I wished they kept in hard to use mechanics and at least balanced out the DPS to something less exploit feeling and more of an fairly rewarding outcome to the effort put into your combat.

It's a shame SEGA considers so many unintentional mechanics bugs now and fixes them as soon as they discover them. Like look at base pso2, I don't think doing things like cancelling the soaring blade weapon action with techs like zanverse was intentional, but it became the meta, and it still exists to this day. But in NGS a very similar thing happened with soaring blades, and they patched it out immediately, and nerfed soaring blades weapon action when using it after any other weapon's attack.

You could just... idk... play higher end content instead of doom grinding level 35 Labs? Go to the Starless PSE Bursts. Your opinion about no risk is lost when your facing baby level enemies. Lol Plus I like some of the changes with patches. I got a lot less derpy Hunters and Gunners using bugs rather than just doing damage. Now I got Hunters and Gunners who know what to do with their kit. Big change I like is to soaring blades. Now the weapon art its not just a minigun of sword projectiles but tied to a movement. Complain when your two hitting Starless or high tier enemies.
