ONE JOB!!!.... awesome vid, I had adjustable levers at one point, and it ended up making my clutch slip so I put the stock levers back on. but I would like to get some folding levers tho. hi Brian , cum from a developing , highly corrupt & populated nation called India. Where every day life is a battle. for us, to own a bike like ( yamaha r3) in the 5 - 6k dollar price is great thing. Very very few own leader bikes in India( ( for the population).we dont have the roads either , Except High ways , where we have to be careful, . then we have the cost of maintainance , insurance , fuel cost ( extremely high ) in India. My younger brother , Uday ( Computer Engineer) has settled in Houston / Austin ,Texas. Happy for him. Almost every nite watch u before going to bed. thank u, cheers

Odds are what you are hearing is the brake light switch on the master cylinder. - Van

I did a lever install and now my quick shifter isn't working

The lever install should not have any impact on the quick shifter. Sounds like you have another problem. - Van

I have the exact levers on my CBR600RR and am having clearance issues on the brake side. The clutch side is perfect. I don't get why I have these issues with Honda, but it seems like any attempt to move the brake lever closer to the end of the handlebar, I still can't clear the plastic. It makes me unable to turn the handlebars all the way to the left. Any similar issues with clearance when turning the handlebars?

Do you have the OEM clip ons on the bike or aftermarket clip ons? I have seen clearance issues from time to time with some levers when using aftermarket clip ons that allow you to change the bar position. You can keep adjusting the bars and the lever until you find a position that works or you could try something like putting a stick on wheel weight on the steering stop to reduce the sweep a bit. (I do this to all of our race bikes in one manner or another to help minimize crash damage on track). - Van

@@sportbiketrackgear I like that wheel weight idea. Thanks much. I actually do have the OEM clip-ons. I know exactly what you mean by the aftermarket track clip-ons that are more straight. I had Vortex and Driven I wrestled with when I had a 954RR. I wound up going back to stock and back and forth. It really can be a jigsaw at times. Thanks for the tip too, I actually spent some time just finding its contact point and finally found where you can just fit a dollar behind where it was normally grazing the plastic. I might try that wheel weight idea as well just for added precaution. The LSL pads were also a nice add to those bikes as well, you guys have nice Yamahas as demos :-)
