great keyboard. thanks Herr P. at Session in Frankfurt for you help in learning the somewhat complicated ways of saving performances styles. i have 4 different ways of playing one song (with manual bass, chording in left hand, chording in right hand etc., with different voices and split points for each ) on 4 easy to reach "registration" buttons. worth the initial frustration. great sounds

Beautiful organ sounds, which is my favorite on the keyboard. I have a PSR S910 and I would like to find a pack that has the sounds of this S970 to load on the S910; would you have, if not the pack but, at the same time some organ sounds? Thanks

I understand this keyboard is not necessarily aimed at owners of the penultimate model (like myself) but I still feel like venting. Come on Yamaha! This is not worth the upgrade! The arpeggiator- though present and welcome-is limited (only 5 or six guitar arps? My KX8 arp is better and only cost $100... For $2000: Let's have some MOTIF quality here, guys!), the "ASSIGNABLE" knobs are preset, there are still no SA assignable switches (huh?), all of the "bread and butter" voices (saving strings/trem. strings, & SA Bass) are the exact same (additional voices, though nice, aren't applicable for most applications). What good is the expansion option when all the available packs are ethnic sounds that most people won't need or want? How about brass, strings, woodwind, EP, piano, guitar/bass expansions... With SA? The vibrato chorus hasn't been improved on the organ flutes since the PSR-2000! And, who would it kill to add an extra pair of cursors for the 16' drawbar already (make it assignable for other sounds even)! Let's retire the sweet flute to the legacy file; it was stellar on my psr2000/2100s, but some new articulations would be awesome! please, a real sequences with transport and undo would be nice finally (even in style creator)! How about duplicating the MOTIF/MOXF relationship and giving us a Tyros 5 lite with all of the sounds and polyphony sans organ world, the sturdy build, adjustable display... I'd even take a smaller colorless LCD. Or an upright like the CVP, an S6 grand, MOTIF ES quality EPs even. Make them expansion packs even! I was deciding between this and Korg PA-900 (which is sort of a mini PA4x...) Korg wins hands down for articulations, EPs, that-to die for-harmonica (first time I was ever inspired by that patch on any keyboard), sound design, editing, chords looper... Sound quality is a toss up between the two, though... An updated screen? Guitar effects that don't seem any better (wasn't complaining about the old ones)? How about some real improvements! Where is the competition Yamaha? Wooo, got that off my chest

Just there is 1. 512 MB in S970 160 MB in S770 2. There is vocal harmony 2 and synth vocoder in S970 3. There are audio style in S970 4. S970 VCM
