Well, I just made my order for one (probably I'll get a second one in the future because... why not?) and I can see it being very useful to keep my other memory cards for a few things here and there, and also as a safety measure for when my HDD breaks so I can still have FreeMCBoot (or equivalent) ready to re-do all the process again if needed into another drive, now I just have to see if I can put a mod-chip or any other alternative to have Ps1 games as well (sadly, my Ps2 is one of those you can't use stuff like MechaPwn to avoid the mod-chip and/or the emulator thing).

I´ve followed all the steps from this playlist and I´m getting a black screen after I try to boot OPL or the LaunchElf on my gen2. You guys don´t talk about the civ.bin thing, but I followed the tutorial at the sd2psx homepage and I´ve deployed it too... so, what on earth am I doing wrong??

Can you use Bitfunx MX4SIO SIO2SD SD/TF Card Adapter in the other memory card slot? If so which version should be used for the slim ps2? Thanks

Yes, It can. friend. The psxmemcard gen2 will come pre-installed a funtuna R3 in bootcard-2.mcd. You can use it if you have PS2 slim. And the OPL version must be 1.2.0 or above. We pre-install the simple homebrew software. If you have any problems during use, please reinstall other appropriate versions according to this installation video. Thank you.

The psxmemcard gen2 comes pre-installed with FMCB 1.966 (BootCart-1.mcd) and FunTuna R3 (BootCard-2.mcd). This video is mainly to show you how to install the homebrew software you need. In this way, you can install other homebrew software or replace the version by yourself.

i have a ps2 slim 90004, the boot function works for the first time, i launch OPL then a game, it create a save file then, if i want to change game, the boot function stop working until i delete the folder of the new savegame it creates... how to fix that?
