Honestly I'm not sure if you've ever felt discouraged because you haven't got as many comments as other creators or as many subscribers but I'm so gratful for your videos on AQA psychology because I'm just going over topics I learnt at the start of the year and I'm unsure how to revise so I'm just watching your videos on those topics and I'll watch them over and over then eventually access the revision material and hope that helps lol but I'm so thankful as something's my teacher says I don't quite understand but when you explain it it's that little bit more simpler and within my grasp! Thank you sir!

Hey, Thank you for such a kind comment! Ever since starting this channel, I have always known I will never get the mega views and subs that other channels do, after all, there are only so many AQA A-level psych students out there. I originally made this for my own students, but after comments like your own, I realised how much it was helping students I would never meet. Even though the number of views will never be massive, I know the impact the videos could have on people's lives may be bigger than the random vlog/lifestyle/gamer videos that populate most of KZbin. So I've decided to make the videos on the channel as high quality as I possibly can, even if it's only for a relatively small audience. I personally did not have a great experience with the teaching when I did my A-levels, so I'm trying to be for students what I wish I had back then, a trustworthy source of advice, and hopefully, someone who makes the content interesting and accessible. It's my birthday today, so especially thank you for the kind message, it means a lot! Good luck with the A level, - Nick.

@@PsychBoost happy belated birthday! What a lovely philosophy and undertaking. I just recently decided I want to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical psychology, and stumbled upon your videos in hopes of finding high quality content presented in a digestible way. Your channel and website serve exactly that purpose and beyond. Thank you so much.

@@Kakirachan Hey, thank you! What a fantastic route. Full respect for that career path, I'm sure you will make a real difference in many people's lives. A long time ago I considered becoming a clinical psychologist but teaching found me instead, but I know how challenging it can be to get a place on the dclin, so good luck! Also really happy the videos help beyond the Alevel!

I just want to say how helpful these are as a refresher for me. I haven't been in school for almost two years and am about to start my master's program. These have helped me remember and refresh on topics I haven't used since my undergraduate degree.

*NOTE: This may be obvious but I will mention this here just in case. As the researcher will do a directional hypothesis if there is previous research that suggests which way the results will go, this means if there are multiple conflicting previous studies, then this does not suggest which way the results will go so the hypothesis will be non-directional. A short read I often get my students to look at that outlines why we shouldn't use "Proof/Proven" in science. www.psychologytoday.com/gb/blog/the-scientific-fundamentalist/200811/common-misconceptions-about-science-i-scientific-proof
