Your video just helped me so much! I’m studying for my NCE and research and statistics is my weakest/ fear. I always tell my friends who tutor me to teach me like you would talk to a 5 year old in easy, simplified language and you so did that! You have really good examples and explanation. I’m also a visual leaner so you did a great job putting this together. I never comment on KZbin but I really wanted to write to tell you that! Thank you

2nd University student here, looking for a correlation between logical thinkers and perfectionism. I'm planning on doing this using two variables. 1 logical thinking scale and 2 creative thinking scale, whilst getting each participant to fill in a perfectionism scale to compare data of the previous variables. One problem I have with this is the participants we use may all be logical or all creative thinkers 🙄 plus although these scales exist our university doesn't have access to the ones we want to use 🤔also we were asked to create the hypthosis before looking for studies to back up our reasoning any ideas on our to deal with these issues?

So can we just say if we say the relationship between something and something that’s mean correlation but if we say interaction between something and something that mean we study the cause?

Research by Huhtaniemi et al. (A-19) focused on the quality of serum luteinizing hormone (LH) during pubertal maturation in boys. Subjects, consisting of healthy boys entering pubeny (ages 11 years. 5 months to 12 years), were studied over a period of 18 months. The following are the concentrations (TUL) of bioactive LH (B-LH) and immunoreactive LH (1-LH) in serum samples taken from the mbjects. Only observations in which the subjects' B/ ratio was greater than 3.5 are reported here Can someone please help

I’m still confused I don’t understand I have to write a PowerPoint and I need to do a correlation with variables about children and memory and idk what to do
@PsychExplained2 жыл бұрын
Great question. It is funky to think about how “children” and “memory” are correlated. I would focus more on topics within childhood and memory. I think this is what your teacher is suggesting. For example, we know that stress or trauma experienced early in life can have detrimental (harmful) effects on brain development. So you could study the question, Is childhood trauma correlated with memory loss (or short-term memory loss) in adulthood? Others… Is there a correlation between happy childhood memories and better health in adulthood? Is there a correlation between childhood confidence and memory?
