I am a middle school teacher. This year I realized in the 6th graders I am teaching, something didnt connect in their brain receptors. The inability to focus, make decisions, work individually and collectively and their low academic levels are abnormal and shocking. And i teach in the suburbs, the school has a ton of money and resources. This video confirms what i already knew, the kids are in front of screens all day and evening.

That point, having Socratic discussions in person for social dece, SO important to question and dissect for thorough comprehension. Otherwise we'll end up with a generation of "Teach me what to think" instead of "Teach me HOW to think". Which is VERY concerning.
