I have a suggestion for the entire UVA DOPS( in which Mr. Tucker and other claiming to study paranormal phenomenon work) and it is that, subject people claiming a past life or experiencing a nde,sde etc to a lie detection test so that, atleast fraud can be ruled out. While it is probably not a good idea to subject a little kid, claiming a past life to such test but atleast the parents can be subjected to the lie detection test to rule out frauds.

I remember parts of my past life as a lumberjack with a family in Canada. I entered Canada on a ship through Pier 21 (Halifax). As a child I’d scream “America, America, I want to go to America” incessantly. I only realised that this must have been my past life when I went to visit Pier 21 on vaca when I was 27. I broke down sobbing. I knew immediately that I had immigrated through Pier 21 in my past life. I know I was a tall, bearded man and took the train from Halifax towards west. i have just finished writing a fictional book about a character who discovers they had a past life whist reading a diary left by their mother.. It was fun ,as after reading many many stories by real people who had experienced past lives themselves I do truly believe it exists. It was said that Saint Paul was re-incarnated but the Catholic church during the period of Pope Alexander removed that story from scriptures.The church discouraged any talk of it from then on. Presumable to be able to encourage the existence of Heaven and hell. The concept of the possibility of their being 'more' is the most comforting thing humans today can possible have. Reincarnation is happening all the time. Our body keeps changing the cells all the time. The body we had as as 3 years old is all gone and have new body yet the awareness of self as "I"prevails. This self awareness never changed even though the body changed. This transcended our bodies without our Mind\knowledge knowing it. So it does transfer's in to another body based on Karma. Reincarnation and change is only constant and nothing is constant in this ever flowing energy world. What a Child remembers is a like a Mind in form of cloud that engulfs the self awareness. You have your experience even though your body changed. That is stored in the mind. But mind itself is like a cloud around the self awareness "I 'that transcends the body. Hope you can see the relation between mind and self awareness. Food body changes with every bite of food we take. Those who have sudden death are born with shock experience in mind. Your attachment to the pleasure and aversion, to the people and things wires your brain strongly creating a separate identity for yourself. The whole human being is food being and practically only brain cells were true than there would be no depression, love, hate, etc but just protection and attack. Even when a person has big brain damage, the sense of "I" remains. This attachment to "I"is the separate consciousness that goes on in to a different body. You are only studying the brain and body but not the mind. Your saying about brain is what I completely agree with but does that not make you so practical that not to love other or feel hurt, or have ego or think about things you could have. Is it the brain trying to achieve those things or mind is using the brain to pursue those things. You and I are on same page except your study is limited to body without ego\mind and emotions but that is what creates a separate individual entity. Can it be like music is to radio. Why feel happy when someone praise or feel sad if that is all brain is. This is exactly the question asked by people looking for release, for freedom, etc. You are correct and it should only be brain and body that dies and that is the end. But that separate identity is illusory ego\mind. That reincarnates. If you can get rid of that separate mind\ego, reincarnation stops. Even the brain that dreams in night will stop having dreams.

Just chance about this program last night. Just need to share and know about if there is any clinical work done or any science on this subject. I was brought up a catholic. My wife in particular has always dreams or encounter about a particular Buddhist deity, "God of War" or "Protector of Buddhism" - Guan Kong. My wife has encounter the following: 1. when she was nursing the first born son, she saw the deity appear out of the wall with his presumably 2 servants, wearing the traditional chinese costume, had a very red face and smiling at her, showing white teeth, had height, floor to ceiling, while the 2 servants wire shorter 2. during the birth of the second son, coming out of a C section, she dream of going to a place where there a many, many, various temples, round and round it goes up, up, till .... there was the ultimate power, a power at the top. 3. always has dreams of downwards spiral spinning and spinning, never goes away, never landing. 4. dreams of been an angel, clothes of transparent glass, floating, never hungry, always happy, ...... 5. always dream of departed love one, persons, giving signs of what's to happen or a departed colleague telling his family what to do or what he wishes done ... during a work posting to Taiwan 6. dream of a colleague's demise, 5 days before he pass on, etc 7. dream of a place where there are numerous temples, where one particular temple, where's playing, had stalks of lotus flower just grew out of the clean sandy ground ..... I believe my wife is special. She's 64. she knows she's going to semi retire at 68 and pass on at 81 in a plane. She started work at 17 as a production operator. I believe I have had glimpses of two of my past lives..One was of a business man in Victorian England. I had a warehouse by the side of a canal. I was having an affair with a married woman. Come forward to this life, and the reincarnation of that same woman became my wife..and with that the KARMA.from that past life. I am 72 now..and many years ago..well before I was interested in anything spiritual..and I don't think I hade ever heard of reincarnation.. if I had at that time, would not have given it any though. I was a young man doing young man stuff, working, drinking, playing pool..and girls. That just about summed me up. Anyway, one day I was walking along a local road, probably going to the pub, when into.my head popped..Reincarnation is real. I would have though, why did that come into my head. @james palmer ok, Did not know about the definition of recyclable. Something like God's Creation process for soul Creation, and "Re-Creation". I remember at the time of my Creation, my first actions/thoughts. I don't remember how God actually did it, but it is very possible and I do feel that God showed me how or explained more or less about it during my PBE. There is an extensive period where God taught me things in a ONE-to-One situation, but much of that memory has been removed, and I still don't remember all of it. I will be more careful with the wording from now on. Re-Incarnation seems to mean different things to different people. Maybe it would be best or also Redo-Creation or Clone-Creation or ? If the Universe creates a being and can make an exact copy, then why can't there be another life after this one? An exact copy would be an exact copy, memories and all. Science already had the "butterfly" experiment where it appeared to be energy only that contains memory. Everything appears to be energy. If everything is really just energy, then wouldn't that make sense that the being which is this Universal energy controls what the energy happens to be doing, if it wants to? I think you should keep an open mind. I think your experiences may be, in combination with your current scientific knowledge, leading you astray. I like the way you encourage people to make the most of this life, and I entirely agree. Truth can be found in multiple books. God Wrote multiple Books. God explained to me many things in a PBE. God can make something out of nothing. Angels can be directed to pluck people from Hell and send them to a new life with much of their memory removed. As for reincarnation, God sees this very much very similar or same as death. I did not understand death entirely before I came to this world, Then God made it clear to me that our goal is not death, it is not reincarnation, it is not going to hell or somewhere with much of our memory removed. I have had many experiences during my long years..but I can only vouch for certain things. I know we survive death. I know the first place that we go when we first cross over is what some call the astral plain. I know we reincarnate. I know spirit can communicate with us here. But between first passing and returning to go through the physical experience again, I have no idea what happens or where we go. I have seen many vids of people who say they have had NDE's, and saw heaven, met Jesus and other beings. All I can say is that's their story. I can't say if they were true or not. I wasn't there. It didn't happen to me. I can confirm the astral, as during quite a few OBE's I have been there. Personal experiences are my truth. I believe certain things..but my belief is not proof for others. The universe is most probably spatially infinite. Matter can only arrange itself in a finite number of different ways and this means if the universe is indeed infinite there are an infinite number of exact copies of you, me, the Earth and our observable universe. I have two past lives dreams. My most recent past life memory of a man a pilot killed in Pearl Harbor. I was brought up Catholic at the time and never even believed in reincarnation at the time. That seems illogical. Why can't there be trillions of souls? Why limit the number? Most souls likely don't even incarnate. The observable universe is thought to be 13.8 billion years old but we have no idea how large or old the universe actually is. It could be infinite.
