First time I'm seeing a lesbian movie. Ik psychopath or sociopath have no feelings for anyone. They don't feel things the way we ordinary people feel. But they're also humans. Here she, inspite of a sociopath, she tried to love the woman who came first and to do everything. But at last the lady broke her heart and just kicked her and ran away. She was a sociopath but at the end she was also got attached to her. That's why she cried a lot at the end because whatever it is she's also a normal human being. She has also emotions may be she can't realise it but she has it. Really love is too short, forgetting is so long

I'm not a psychopath, but trauma did land me somewhere in the aromantic spectrum so this resonated with me. Some of Andra's words (I can't reciprocate, I'm not emotionally all there, you'll get hurt, etc.) are exactly what I would say if anyone were to seriously ask me out, except instead of agreeing to a relationship, I would just run away in fear 🥲 Anyway, I'm not really one for doomed queer romance stories but this was seriously so good! Might even be my favorite short film of all time. Brava! 👏🎉

This happened with my current boyfriend, when he first confessed his feelings I just blocked him for some time (I was 14), I acknowledge that wasn't the best decision, but I was younger and very overwhelmed with the way he spoke (he was sober but wasn't in his "right mind" either with the way he was typing), and my lack of reciprocation had mostly to do with the fact I'd only known him for a week or so and that I regarded him moreso as a brother than a romantic interest, but also that I had never seriously fallen in love with anyone before. I had some random infatuation-ish things but honestly I have always felt as if I was "forcing it" when I tried to experience some kind of crush, just because I wanted to be able to feel it (even with people that wouldn't reciprocate). Now, later I figured that despite physical distance and generally how I wouldn't personally consider him incredibly "attractive" for me, I may also just be kind of aromantic/asexual (I do somehow have some kind of a "thing" for girls, as an afab non-binary person myself), and/or dealing with supressed emotions in general, and maybe I'm just a romantic/sexual latebloomer or something as well/not yet encountered a person I'd be THAT deeply attracted to (that may be some kind of greysexual/greyromantic though probably at this point with me being 17 atm) for me I mean you never know, while he is in love with me and is VERY seriously committed. And he is objectively the best partner in the entire world, no one else would be able to accept me and help me like he does, and strangely, he is fine with everything about me, even my lack of attraction (regardless of the extent to which it is something inherent to me, something related to him being a man or him being a certain way, or something else) and (current) lack of emotions in general, and even though I am sometimes kind of confused because I have somehow actually been able to still have some kind of feelings(?) for one of my female friends, but really the point is that even though you may lack certain emotions and attraction towards someone, you could still end up finding someone like my boyfriend that is ok with it and would want to live with you if that's something that you'd want:)

The story, camera angles, lighting and actors are great! I’m going to watch it, but the premise that someone was diagnosed as a psychopath at 15 erased any credibility about the diagnosis. The prefrontal cortex doesn’t finish developing until a person is around 25. That is the earliest age at which a diagnosis can be made, and “psychopath” is not an actual diagnosis. Antisocial personality disorder is the diagnosis. However, I’m psyched to see this movie!

Andra is on the ASPD spectrum (antisocial personality disorder, for those who don't know) and she is just being callous when she says "psychopath" in the opening monologue of the film. Children have been diagnosed on the ASPD spectrum as early as 8 and 11 years old. The director interviewed many folks on the ASPD spectrum during the scriptwriting phase to fact check and ensure that she was being as accurate as possible!
