I typically don't play first person shooters at all (usually more of a fighting game guy), but Hunt drew me in with its aesthetic and time-period alone. Modern times shooters have their place, but for me personally, the grounded grit of the 1800s remains my favorite setting; from the guns, to the music, to the visuals. Mix that with compelling piece-it-together lore, and eldritch horror to boot? You've sold me.

He said that only bulwark can keep a bomb lance bolt from killing you, but dauntless can actually put out the fuse as well if it hits you directly. You still take the initial bleed and hit damage but you won't blow up.

Hey, Mike, once you're impaled by a Bomb Lance, it isn't quite GG, you can use your medkit to remove the bomb lance by healing with the medkit immediately. It drops the lance out of you and gives you some time to get further away. might still die from explosion, but it's kind of your only hope.

Actually, i think you can "defuse" a bomb lance explosive. But it is very hard to do. You need to have a choke bomb next to you. Throwing one would be too slow

I'm sad I haven't been able to play hunt, ever since the second questline dropped this update my game will crash within 1 minute of loading into a match. I have tried everything, even completely reinstalling windows and it hasn't worked. Hunt is the only game that is having this issue and it wasn't happenning before.

@Psychogost Gaming I think Flash bomb should last less long if you turn your back on it. Currently it is a bit strong getting a full flash anywhere within x range of you. It lasts for so many seconds and you don't see anything. Even with the compass it can be very difficult to navigate anything during the period. Alternatively change it so it's similar to other games where when you are flashed you basically get a "printscreen" of the current picture you see that freezes in picture for a little while slowly fading into normal vision again. This would allow you to make some better turns initially as you get flashed. Because the windup is so quick and the sound isn't that high when someone charges a flash you can't really avoid it. It's very strong. Unless you are within 1-2 meters from a corner you are fucked. Also regarding the fast shooters. Sure many problably prefer the fast paced games. But I also thing there is a bias because there are like 100 to 1 modern shooters vs western style shooters. So it's a lot easier to find and play fast paced shooters ^^

sadly crytek doesnt seem to wanna grow in Germany when they refuse to acknowledge the issue with their server provider and Telekom, which is just, you know, the isp with a market share of 25%, making it impossible for a lot of folk to play in the evening. With a mere 20.000 players online world wide. and as Hunt is a game where rubber banding impacts pretty much everything, well, bye bye.
