I love how I still see people commenting that the Avto is op or that this ammo change is to nerf it. For anyone who has watched a decent amount of 5 and 6 star hunt, what is more frightening? An Avto or a dude with decent aim and an uppercut? Sure, on any ranking, stepping on a bush boi Cain with an Avto will kill you, but some dude with a close-range load out and a pocket sniper uppercut as his backup is terrifying to deal with anywhere near a compound. The only real use of the Avto in my mind (beside memes it is funny) is in a 3-man team, one guy with an Avto can pull a lot of attention and let his two buddies flank and rotate.

I'm a high 3 star and I almost never see the nitro or avto, and when I do they tend to do very little. Thinking about it, I bet weapons that are cumbersome, expensive, and powerful scale well with player skill, like the opposite of a chain pistol with fanning.

As for the solo, I recently was reminded that bloodless really takes the sting out of concertina traps. If he had bloodless and an antidote shot, he could have easily survived an arm or leg hit from long ammo.

I'm going to go out on a limb and bet that high 3 stars are usually more conservative in their loadout costs on top of being in the middling MMR grade skill-wise, a combination that means that they don't get very much practice with weapons that are exorbitantly expensive and somewhat awkward to use.

​nightmareTomek Because it's expensive and doesn't guarantee a win. I'd wager that most high 5* (maybe low 6*) are like myself and don't have loads of money in the bank unless all they play is Winfield. Avtomat loadouts are just under 2k, require you to spend a LOT of money unlocking it (mosin loadouts aren't cheap either) and also require quartermaster. So, it'll take about 2-3 games to start making money back. Additionally, the avtomat is a devastating weapon in the right hands but it doesn't guarantee you a win. It doesn't make you invincible to a romero round the corner or a sniper in a bush. Also remember, these 5-6* players are playing against other 5-6* players who can and will headshot you with a winfield. 5* avtomat against 3-4* players guaranteed an almost guaranteed win. All this means that it's just generally more cost effective to just use more reasonable loadouts. That's my impression anyway

I am in the camp that dislikes the gun because it feels AWFUL to play against, not because it's too good. As it is pre-patch, it can pin you down, and with some practice can reliable clean up entire teams ridiculously fast. I don't mind guns being deadly, but the Nitro for instance has huge drawbacks. If you miss with that, you gotta fall back or you die, you have little ammo and it's special anyway so not easy to resupply even with the old ammo system. Compare this to the avto where if you miss you can instantly re-adjust. It has awesome sights and excellent first-bullet accuracy, meaning you can one-tap headshot like a regular mosin and even interrupt the animation with dark sight if you wanna flex. It's ridiculous to have it when other guns have a looot of disadvantages in comparison.

What gets me was having 40+ large ammo bullets available. How you going to have more ammo then alot of small bullet combos but it be a large bullet? Then when you got a ammo crate it was what? 12 bullets? The one downside of large bullets just evaporated with this gun.

The avto also leaves little time to react unlinke the majority of the guns in the game it basically holds bad players hands by letting them dump long ammo at someone. If you have most guns in game and you miss people have room to react. Much like dual wielding nobody thinks you are good for using it as it requires less skill to use properly and any headshot you get with it is luck before its skill everytime. Like ya sure in most cases you cant reliably hit someone 40+ metes but considering much of the fights are in and around compounds that is rarely an issue.

One time me and my 2 friends went into Upper Desalle to get the bounty, my friend heard two guys in that little side room on the ground floor of the mainbuilding in upper, he was like "you know what they definitely have shotguns but I'm gonna scare them now I'm going in... with my knife!" so he did few seconds later 2 guys were dead not a single shot fired suddenly my friend is like "holy sh*t both of them had Avtos... I have a bad feeling about the third one but you know what no risk no fun" the third guy was standing down the hall my friend shot out of that room with his knife and the third guy also had an Avto as expected... and he missed every f*cking shot no joke not a single shot hit my friend while my friend basically was running at him and also knifed him... We were like "Did you really just knife three avtos?" he was like "Yes... Yes I did... I could see the fear in the last guys eyes after his two Avto buddies died by my knife" we both were "You know they will report you, because they 100% think you cheated because nobody is mad men enought to knife 3 Avtos and getting away without a single point of damage?" "Yeah I know... was still fun though" End of the story we went out with three avtos and 2 bounties... was a fun round 🤣

Hornet and RachtaZ's recent Avto videos demonstrate the issues pretty well. In Hornet's video ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3nCoXaBoJibnqM ) he fires over 100 bullets in the first fight like it's nothing. It's pretty hard to argue that being able to fire 100 long ammo bullets in such a short period of time is balanced.

Hornet and RachtaZ take gaming overly seriously, I think I have never heard them laugh. How this guy shoots and immediately dark-sights to cancel the animation... xD Like a nervous dysfunction. One of them also said "you wanna see me die, watch my twitch" - ergo what they post on YT is pretty biased. This gun is 1250 + medium slot + 1-2 consumables JUST for ammo. It should pack a punch. It SHOULD increase the chances of survival in the bayou. It should even attract players who want to loot it. Yet it often goes "once dropped, never fired" instead. I have that problem with crown & king, it's cursed.

"Expensive meme" I see Avtos almost every 2 rounds. Sometimes there are even multiple Avtos in one round and they just destroy everything. Always 6 stars with a 2+ KDR, all they play is Avto. I don't see that as a expensive meme anymore. I think the Avto need a wall penetration nerf as well. As soon as they see your shoulder or they hear you they spray the walls and kill you, even throw 2 walls behind a building. It is ridiculous. In a recent Video you talked about how the maturity of gamers like the i can spray with a weapon (like Tarkov, BF, COD) more then the one shot weapons (like in hunt). Well with the Avto you have the LMG from BF/COD or any other modern shooter. It requisers 0 skill in such a game like Hunt where every shot counts.

I'm playing solo right now, it feels so imba. xD Only time I actually die is against other solos. It feels like teams simply can't aim. Hm, I wonder why. xD I still dropped to 3*. Which only makes it possible to self-revive and then knife someone. Maxed 8 hunters in 3 days. Granted, I'm only aggressive in my bounty thieving strategy, slurp & run. But still. I think slurp should be nerfed to 35 or 40m? Self-revive 13s since an ally would need to get himself into position first?

I'm not too impressed with how they are handling the Avto. They are nerfing it into obsolescence, which I feel is a lazy way to handle it. i personally have never understood the avtos place in the game. other than a laugh/meme. the fire rate just doesn't really fit the rest of the gun play. you've created an entire game around western style single shot/semi auto weapons..and then just dropped this weapon in that unloads in a second which just fuels a "spray and pray" mentality.. doesn't really make sense and in fact counters the concept i feel hunt does so well of making your shots count. that isn't a popular thought usually..but thissss does raise the point and question of why is it even still here at this point if you're having to change an entire function in the game to make it work?? 🤷‍♂it feels like they're just trying to force its place in the game instead of the avto naturally finding it like all the other weapons have.

I've never understood the want to nerf something as if it's unfair, how can it be unfair if you can do it too? Idk if it's all guns or just the avto that's getting an ammo stacking nerf but the ammo is my biggest issue, as someone who fights lots of people I need all the ammo I can get. It seems more like the people who get 1 kill max that want nerfs to happen. Idk how we can kill 70% of the lobby without ammo stacking and resupply changes. I dont care about avto but just never understood the want for nerfs when theres no unfairness involved.

It is a western shooter that is all about precise aiming and the avto is a spammable burst fire weapon with long ammo that completely ignores that. Just because everyone else can do it doesn't mean everyone wants to or should do it. That makes no sense.

I don't really care what gun someone uses against me, tbh they can remove the avto and I wouldn't care or change its ammo type. I just want ammo stacking and resupplies to be left as is. I mainly kill 60-70% of lobby and I need ammo to do so, hoping other guns ammos are left alone and its just the avto. Its dumb to change a whole game based on one gun, why not remove it or change the guns ammo, why change all resupply?

I don't use it as I personally prefer other guns but I don't complain about unfairness when someone else uses one against me. I usually kill the person but yea sometimes there is that person that shoots random bursts though walls that kills me, I don't complain about it being unfair, I just scream cheater at my screen and get off. TBH I don't care what happens to avto as its not unfair by any means, just because you prefer to use a different gun. One of the stupidest and unneeded changes they could make. Reminds me if them keep nerfing explosive ammo when it was already bad, man this uppercut round does 91 and the normal base damage is 130 and its expensive...gotta nerf it to 71. The only way its even good is if you carry duel sparks pistols but now it's going to be basically useless especially if they make it harder to get ammo when you usually only get 3 rounds back anyway.

Expensive meme? In what world are you living? It's THE most broken gun in the game. For a while you could even guarantee headshots over 100m+ by using darksight after u shot. You lost 3 bullets, but it was a perfectly aimed shot. I got 3k hours & it's my highest kda weapon, i sometimes manage to unlock it at 90 while prestiging & i use it 100% to lvl 100. Doesn't take to many games. As you average 6kills a game with it, easily. If i wasn't prestiging, I would run it whenever i had the money to buy it. It's insanely good. I know i watched you once using it & you missed alot of shots & went, ye see it's not that good "just hold down" doesn't work. True, to an extent. It beats all shotguns & many mediumranged weapons. If you fight in compound its just a done deal.

Even if it's not the best gun in the game the design of it is the most egregious example of their design philosophy for quick shooting weapons using RNG for balance. If you high roll the gun is absurdly broken, and you high roll extremely often when you have 45 bullets to roll with. It is terribly unfun game design. I feel the same way about dualies and fanning but the Avtomat takes it to absurd levels. Balancing with RNG does not balance a weapon adequately, as the times you high roll with it it's just broken.

What are you even talking about? Every shotgun outperforms the avto, at long range you can absolutely forget it, since the first bullet fired is never 100% accurate. And no, the dark sight thing doesn't work. The only scenario where the avto is somewhat viable is at medium range. But still you have to pray to the lord to get somewhat good RNG to have a few bullets hitting their target. Other than that, actually quite useless and most definitely an expensive meme. Any winfielsld outperforms it, especially at medium and long range.

@@coolkrass5079 Well most of the fights happens on medium range so the weapon is broken, and even on longer range when you can handle and know how to play the avto it is still a strong weapon. A i spray all bullets at once LMG weapon in a skilled single shot weapon game, the Avto has no place. Also @LockofMetal talked about the Avto before all the nerfes before the Game released out of early acssess where you could headshots people from 100m+.

I saw the title of this video and wanted to downvote it before I even watched it. I thought, c'mon, Mike is better than this. I don't want to watch a video of him owning an entire server with the Avto. Once more, you earned my respect. You hardly got any kills with the Avto, and proved how hard it is, even for a great player, to actually single tap everyone in the lobby, like some other Streamers seem to do every game.

The Avto is just s*it in this game. Terrible to play against them. You go into the match with a repeating rifle and have to compete against a machine gun. Yes Yes you can play sniper or keep your distance, these are always the excuses! No, the Avto has no place in this game!
