I am not sure that I like the new pain sense. Poison sense was like a unique and cheap thing only poison could do, so it was a extra option when taking the poison ammo which I feel is already picked less than the other ammo types. I think that bleed and fire are already pretty strong without it.

The alert trip mines and the satchel charges remind me of a few months back when you could throw a sticky bomb into water and ignite it using tripmines but now waaaaaaaay more useful. Excited to see more applications of it in matches

Bomb launcher is useless, except maybe with the harpoon. It would be nice if the weapon had some sort of melee other than a "winnie vandal" hit animation, idk, maybe a mace at the end like the new rival mace... Right now, it's difficult to get value out of it and difficult to get in a loadout, even with meme loadout. You'll have to play it to get the bomblance, but for me it's a bit meh as a new weapon. I'm sure Mike will get some good clips with it.

Kind of seems like 2 bear traps are just as effective as the Satchel charge/Alert trip setup imo. I feel like you buy Satchel for the ability to remote detonate with Dark Sight. Unless you set Satchel on a wall and Alert below it for some creative possibilities I suppose.

it has "big dynamite bundle" range. bear traps need you to step on both... satchel can snag you from 3~ traps away if you feel like using up all your alerts ((and of course that really dumb "around corner" bugs were if a door is near by it treats the wall as being non existant)) or hole, or wall...got killed through the floor of that lair tossing it into that floor hole and running off cuz of it.

I cant play the game anymore because the update. It just wont start. It has to do something with outdated cpu's and my PC is very old. Only Graphic card was upgraded once and it isnt the newest either. Unfortunately i would have to upgrade a lot more on my PC to make the CPUs even compatible with the Mainboard etc. Sad because i just got into Hunt again and i always love Halloween events. I guess this is the time to save up money for a new up to date PC but they are expensive, even the more lower spec ones and if i get a new one, i want one that will live as long is mine did. On the bright side: For what i heard, the game runs way better performance wise with them abandoning old hardware. So i guess my return will be pleasend... i hope so at least. Will surly take a year to get that PC. Got a Steamdeck and i can run it on there but it performs bad and i cant see anything. It is not fun that way. In the meantime, i will watch Mike playing the game :)

That satchel with traps is going to be such crap. There are so many ways to cheese people in this game. Not sure if I like the intensity of every step being your last. Or if I’d prefer a “gun only mode”. lol. But hunt is so amazing. It’s hard to complain. We shall see how the next few weeks go.

If someone dies to a satchel trap it's their own fault. That thing is extremely loud and you can hear it clearly at around 20-24 meters. That thing won't be an ambush or trap tool and more for zoning people of certain areas. So you put that thing in a certain entrance and people will most likely come from different angles.

MIKE!!! Please raise awareness that surefoot is bugged. When you tolled crouch and walk forward while aiming your gun will not aim properly. Then if you crouch and stand again it fixes it, I think it has something to do with crouch walking speed. But as it stands surefoot / wilderness pact is broken and unusable… need a hot fix ASAP

ya...its been awhile since the packs were so heavily leaned to a single pact...and not even cuz one is so blatantly OP but that the others just...dont perform. Surefoot gives you teh ability to run around while healing and using items and its conditional perk lets you not piss off birds and horses... Smugglers is just bigger quartermaster (plus a free quartermaster) and the conditional lets you run fast with the perk.... a few people may pick it but the fact smugglers taking up 2 slots...eh... and the path of omens which I feel is going to probly be the least picked because most higher end are gonna say "why should I see sound when I can hear it just fine" I love the buff to poisonsence into painsence, def one of my favorite changes... but otherwise im overall disapointed with the pacts this time around...

I would love it if the game on consoles servers would not stutter constantly, I wish some issues to correct server issues were implemented, rather than a new event. So much was put in for the next gen upgrade, that are positives, but the server problem at least for me, has been worsening and worsening as we go on. It’s a shame I started this game when it was released on consoles, and I know we’ve always been the bastard child compared to PC but the server issues should have been corrected before 1896 and should have been correct before another event. Half the time when I am shooting at people they lag all over the place, where as when it was just showdown this was hardly an issue. I have looked it up on forums and no one seems to be mentioning it much, so I will mention it here and see if anyone is running into similar experiences

How do you unlock these new weapons? I usually am not eager to play new content drops just because from what I know there really is no new content because I have to grind hours to unlock the weapons from the battle pass. I usually wait 3-4 months so it can be unlocked through mastery of a weapon instead of a battle pass to use the weapons.

Weekly quests (now called Challenges) give huge amounts of event progression. If you do them each week you'll complete the event well before it's over (and get the new weapons relatively quickly). I imagine Mike either bought some/all of the pass, or was given it by Crytek. Making content with the new weapons is literally his job so it's a good investment for him.

Dunno what it is, Mike, but lately all your uploads feel the same. All solo, all against one team at a time, all wins, all indoors, and all with a crossbow like onehitter. This one was a rarity with you getting a headshot at the end, but you never seem to be in trouble. Are your streams similar? I also miss the times when players talked ingame, it created some funny and wholesome moments.

Solo Bounty Clash is very badly balanced, the fact you always que vs trios is such a bad design. I played 6* Bounty Clash the whole day and never was a trio not the last team standing. I just resigned to not even go for the bounty and snipe for kills only, that was enjoyable at least ^^

@@RavenAurion Bounty Clash could be the mode for Solos, all you need to do is make it solo vs solo, or thats how it feels at the moment. Give everyone 1 free necro so you arent forced to get it beforehand and the potential is there ^^ Or, make it Duo vs Duo, 10 kills with respawns and forget about the bounty entirely, so its more like a TDM

Huge respect for content Mike. But guys, help me understand. You make the game, that is revolving around stealth, positioning, sound, etc, all around let’s call it stealth and fighting when there is a time, but now you add a trait in the game which allows you to see hunters without stamina / bleeding / poisoned? As someone who played hunt for over 6000 hours, I am definitely retiring myself and moving to the World of Warcraft. Not much improvement has been made in last couple of years and personally for me, the that is least important thing, but trade window, random ping drop and spike, glitches, it’s not funny and enjoyable anymore. This is coming from a person who was in high elo, but now, with these new modes and everything, nah. All in all, wish you hunters good season, one is putting his guns in the ground. 🫡
