Hell NO, corporal punishment is 100% barbaric, violent child abuse and should be outlawed and banned!

Psychologist sure seems to be getting reimbursement for stating that the people in charge in school are doing their best by rarely using corporal punishment. Corporal punishment shouldn't be uses at all. Abusers like to validate themselves.

I think people in this comment section, people are missing what this video is trying to say. They're taking this as a war on parenting. But there's a big difference between being a parent and popping your child, and being essentially a complete stranger with no relation and disciplining someone else's child physically. While I may believe in popping my kids on the butt if they act up, I will never approve of someone else other than myself or my child's father disciplining my child in such a way. And if you are personally okay with that, then you better not get mad if your child turns 18 and becomes a psycho, wants to hurt or kill you, or one day beats a teacher's behind when they're 16 years old, and the school wants to put them in jail for doing so. Not to mention all the other effects that can have on a young person, such as taking a toll on their intelligence and ability to function as a normal, healthy member of society.

There is evidence that spanking does good. When I was two, I was being a pain and got into something dangerous, my mom spanked me hard and I learned my lesson, now im 17 and a hard working student, I haven't needed a spanking since.

Honestly, spanking doesn't do any good. Especially those with mental disabilities that the parent doesn't know about. It may not teach them a lesson. And also 2? How were you old enough to know what you were even doing? That shit is abuse.
