I was never happy at school, I was on the spectrum which had an effect on how everyone treated me. I had trouble with emotions and being nice and with my tone. My classmates had no problem with it, knowing me well enough and seeing if what I said was actually mean. The adults on the other hand, would call me rude and mean, because of my tone and questions that could be misunderstood. This effected me so much I just decided if they see me as mean, then that’s what I am. It didn’t help I have very volatile emotions and was prone to tantrums because I wasn’t sure what else I could do or how to control my emotions. I ended up pushing them all down which was far from healthy in the long run. It’s been 14 years since I started doing it. I’m 19 now and I’m finally able to let myself feel my emotions, even though they’re still hard to control. But I’m happy now, and that’s what matters.

I'm crying so hard rn. I went through the same situation back in 2011-2013 when I was 8-10. I was bullied by my peers because all of them though I'm lazy but the truth is I don't understand what the teachers teaching because it too fast for me plus I'm shy so I couldn't ask for explanation from the teacher themselves and I ended up didn't do their homework. I still remember when I was 10 I had to go the bathroom by myself because I have no friends, when I got into the classroom I saw my classmates opened my bag and checked all of my books and they say I'm lazy with mocking face (I'm in 1st class). Not only that I got punished to sat at the corridor nearly every day and all of the teachers who passed by me just stared at me in disgust. Even my parents didn't care about me, they're busy with work, I had to say home alone ever since I'm 8. I barely communicate with my parents and they never tried to understand me. Actually until now and I'm already 18 y/o. And now here I'm. The results of all of these situations. I have MDD, panic attacks,anxiety and etc. To all people out there! I know my story have nothing to do with you! But please treat everyone properly because it might destroy their mental health.

I am 22 yrs old, same story as your when I was put in a new school in a hostel in class 6th, every week two or three times I have nightmares from that time, panic attacks, extreme introversion Teacher's asked girls to slap boys at that time to humiliate, i have a job but I still can't look at a girls face, never had a relationship Biggest problem was parents ignoring the arrogant teachers blaming me for everything, even when I brought good results It feels good to have someone to talk to, and you have grown to a brave man that you could write this here, so be proud of yourself

I experienced exactly this! My parents did not know it would have negative effect on me, as this punishment was all they knew to do, but as a child my behavior would be much worse after being smacked. Rather than feeling bad for what I did, I would become very angry and not want to listen to adults who hurt me. My mother is a very smart woman and realized this. Once they started giving me different punishments like extra chores and lecturing, my behavior improved massively! I hope many other parents soon learn that these are better ways to get through to a child

These teachers should be fired. Your job is to teach a child, and believe in them, not bring them down. Teachers are supposed to help you, not punish you for your mistakes and actions. Teachers aren’t supposed to be doing those things to you. Abuse is not the answer. Even though your student(s) are failing are not learning, doesn’t give you the right to hurt them for their actions. He did this because of your actions. Never do this to your students. Don’t corrupt their minds at this age.

When i was in 3rd grade I was slaped by a female teacher in front of everyone.The reason,she gave us suggestions and told us to write it on our school book,but the suggestions was only marked at two notebooks,there were 10 girls and the way we were sitting it was impossible for all of us to copy from one book,still we managed to do it by passing the book here and there,I was almost finished just one question left but before I could write it, a girl took the book saying she need to check,so I waited for my turn,meanwhile the female teacher came to our desk to check if we had copied it or not,when she checked my book everything was ok but suddenly out of nowhere she slapped me in front of everybody.It was burning and hurting and all the students were staring at me boys, girls everyone. She then began to berate me for not copying that one single question.That day I felt very humiliated and sad but could not say anything. Days passed and I began to avoide her in fear,but I don't know why but the same teacher began to behave nicely towards me in my last years in school. Sometimes children do need to get punished for bad behaviors,but punishing them just because they cannot understand the subject or something like this is just disgusting. I know I wrote a long paragraph but believe for the first time I was able to express my feelings.

Love this story All teachers are not rude . Some teachers are rude because of our act but this doesn't mean that they do something like done in this video. Well as of my experience in my all classes mostly male teachers are rude {80%} and female teachers are soft to us{20%}😃

I respect intelligent teachers and government in India 🇮🇳.Finally you understood corparal punishment is a crime. Although my country (sri Lanka 🇱🇰) government says corporal punishment was prohibited, the prohibition has imposed 𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆.
