This is a very sad real story, much like my own but with different people. His mom abandoned him as a child,, his aunt who is his dad sister raised him, but he didn't get along with him growing up. Aunt got cancer in 2019ish and asked MGK on her death bed to make up with his dad! She passed away.... she was his mom figure in life. He made up with dad, bonded over music and started writing rock songs with dad instead of his normal rap genre. Then after reconnecting with his dad, he's TOLD by the doctors his dad is gonna die in a few months... and he passed away . I BELIEVE THE 3RD VERSE OF PASSING is for Chester the lead singer of linkin Park who became a mentor to MGK, and he committed suicide and MGK was HEARTBROKEN. I KNow He lost alot of people. This song kills me. It is amazing and I never related to another song more in my life. I lost my 1st fiance in the 9/11 attacks, I lost my brother and my sister in law, my 2nd fiance passed also, as a well As my uncle, my cousin, about 6 friends AND MY BEST friend of 30 years. I lost everyone since 2001, like a domino effect, it has been HARD TO BE THIS LONELY when all you trusted and loved is gone. I love MgK. (And NF) they are real and raw and have hearts that noone can imagine how they hurt and put it all into their lyrics. And MGK gets hated on so much for this to, it's sad. He also had a miscarriage last November with his fiance Megan fox he wrote a song about you should listen to called TWIN FLAME, and one he wrote for his teenage daughter called WHEN IM GONE (I THINK that's the name) so she has a song to listen to for her WHEN HE DIES . THIS IS A deep soul, and he deserves alot more respect then he is getting from his rap fans for his genre switch, which he will be doing a rap album again his next release. If you need MGk songs to analyze- he's a GOOD ONE to analyze cause you will go real DEEP into a extremly talented but a man with many scars. He knows " there's no happy endings", and in some people's cases no matter how hard you try, HES RIGHT!

Real story. Mom left him and his father at the age of nine. His relationship throughout most of his life with his dad was really strained. His aunt mainly was his care taker. Aunt died from cancer (IDK the exact dates but some time between 2014-2019 I believe). His dad was a missionary out in kuwait for awhile and mgk ruined it for him for messing with the wrong person (he was trying to stop a bully bullying a minority (IDK IF THATS THE RIGHT WORD IM SORRY IF ITS OFFENSIVE)). He reconnected with his dad at the beginning of quarantine I believe but his dad was in a really bad state health wise. He tried to be there for him as much as possible. His father passed away on july 5th, 2020 (From a phone call) and around that same time after his fathers death he had a big suicide scare (Luckily the gun jammed and hes still alive thank god). I believe I have most of his "life story" down so if you want a more thought out explanation I could give it to you! :)

The ending clip was about MGK's birth, they didn't think he was going to make it - If I remember correctly His mum had an affair and left when he was 9, his dad became an alcoholic and moved into his sisters basement with him, at 12 his dad kicked him out after he broke the law and he lived with his grandmother - he came back to her house one day to her dead (For some reason I think it was also his birthday ?) and he went to live with his Aunt again who died of cancer when he was around 20 - his Aunty was like a mother to him. When he was around 30 he reconnected with his father on his death bed (He died of cancer too) as his aunts dying wish was for them to make up.

Still waiting on reaction to five finger death punch. "Wrong Side of Heaven" Gone Away" either of those. I promise they won't disappoint. Once you hear them, you will keep going back to hear more I promise. They get so, so deep. And cover great subjects where therapy is a must. Chris Stapleton "Fire Away". Also great for therapy talk. I know it will be away from hip hop just a little but it's worth it. And the topics they cover are things that need to be focused on and discussed. They do not disappoint. I'm going to keep requesting. I'm not giving up. you will thank me later 💯😉 their main focus is our Veterans and their mental state that light needs to be shed on. Our country can and should do better to make sure they are taken care of. I will do everything in my power to make sure awareness stays out there for them. They signed that blank check for all of us. And they deserve so much better than they are given when they return home. Help me keep awareness going for them.
