great review as always Gem, glad I was online when this dropped managed to get it at retail. I skipped the normal version due to the portrait. Was pleasantly surprised when I got it in hand, the body and maybe even portrait sculpt on this is the best Psylocke on the market atm including the customs imo

I'm not the biggest x-men fan, but I read Rick Remender's run on uncanny x-force and man, still to this day one of the best comic ive read. It is in that serie that I first appreciated psylocke, great piece.

You'll appreciate this Gem. So I just opened my replacement for this piece, the first one I received had a broken base, and they had me send it back about a week ago. Not only is the paint leaps and bounds better on the replacement they also included a paint matched psyblade switchout arm!!!! Pretty freakin cool😍

This is an amazing statue. Psylocke is gorgeous. The only flaw is that "lazy eye" so 2 speak. I would love 2 own this piece. Sideshow was on point with this 1. Good review bro.

I was lucky enough to get the original Sideshow exclusive edition (purple one). I do like that version better.. Except for the hair. I do like the hair on this X-Fore edition better.

The head portrait looks like the actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, she's pretty. I do like the classic traditional look with her blue outfit with the red sash but above all else the statue looks really nice especially her psy-ionic powers with the circular look on each side exposing her legs, when turning the statue around in a certain angle you can kind of see the psy-ionic butterfly powers well sort of. But overall the statue looks really nice.

I know that you said you turn over your collection regularly as a means to make money as a collector, but is there any one statue you have that you don't plan to ever sell? I notice the Wolverine jumping off the rock with his arms back and claws out which looks especially amazing. Seems like I'd be hard-pressed to let that one go--!

You said it exactly right. This portrait with the original EX body is how it should have been. I feel so robbed when they switched up the portraits on me then released this after. When this Variant was released i was at work. Didnt know it was going down til it was friken sold out. #Robbed hahaha
