Nice video Dave! It's strange you haven't had much luck with breeding them. How long have you had mature adults? I started out with about 10-13 large nymphs. After about 1 1/2 years I now have upwards of about 200+ total individuals. Probably about 50 or so adults now. The rest are nymphs of varying sizes and loads of tiny babies. I keep mine in a 45 x 45 cm exo-terra. I have 2 inches of coconut fiber substrate on the bottom that I keep slightly damp. I spray it every evening. The humidity is constantly between a minimum of about 40% and a maximum of 70%. Temperature is a minimum of about 68f and a maximum of roughly 30f. I feed mine once a week on crickets or roaches, but I do give them a lot of food during that single feed. I do not remove the babies from the adult's enclosure. I tried that before and it was less successful. As you know, the babies will latch on to any food the larger individuals catch and get their share of the nutrients that way. The very small nymphs seem to prefer to feed this way for a while until they are larger. Good luck with the new enclosure... Oh by the way... The eggs can take ages to hatch... I thought mine were never going to hatch, but after 4-6 months, bang!!!! Loads of the little buggers. Incubation time seems to vary, but they do take a long time to hatch. However, once your colony is established, you are going to have more assassin bugs than you will know what to do with!!! Christmas gifts for all friends and family!!!

The feeding frenzy was fascinating! They looked so lazy and slow earlier in the video. One question, can they actually hurt each other?
