from 2008 till 2012 ive watched these vids, I can honestly say ive never been let down, you have a great way of delivering the information, both factually and visually, everyone loves the statistics, and your easy to listen to. What you say is not just your opinion but it makes sense and is very relatable. Your ideas and techniques work, thats why people follow you, and look up to you. Thanks again nutnfancy

Watched the whole video! Thank you for sharing, not dumb or boring video by any means. It shows how down to earth TNP is with reality! I feel ya when it comes to going out by yourself, sucks! For the last 6 months Ive been trying to convince my brother to do 2 night trip along Zion's east rim this spring. I cant convince him packing gear in and out is worth the experience. Thanks for the TNP hat and patch which is now proudly on my sheepdog MOPC. Give Allie some belly rubs for us! Peace bro

Hey Nutn, loved this one as I drink my coffee on this beautiful Sunday AM, especially the introspective stuff before nightie-night! Allie is a great pup, glad to see she on the mend. Brought back some ole' memories of my black lab, Xena (the warrior princess). That dog could "hurl" her entire stomach out in two seconds. They are such pigs sometimes! Had to put Xena down a couple of years ago, I still miss her. Completely relate to man's solitude and his dog, keep em coming bro, Peace!

Sometimes I feel like I'm sitting right across the fire form you when you are talking. Then I remember that you are miles out in the middle of no where all by yourself talking to just your camera on a tripod. Comes off as so natural and I'm not sure that many people could do that. It's part of what attracts me to this channel.

Love theese adventure videos, hope you do more of them. They really inspire me to get out more myself. btw you probably know and have tried it but anyway an easy way to get a platform to insulate the mud and Cold from your feet is to lay a patch of spruce branches with alot of needles on them, preferably a thick patch but even a Little helps and it's very easy to gather without spending to mch energy. /Daniel

I kinda fell out of the whole bushcraft-survival scene for a bit, after going to college. Just no longer have any time, or mountains for that matter haha (moved to mid Illinois). And a whole lot more lame excuses. but recently, I've been getting into shooting, and found myself coming back to your channel for gun advice. Anyhow, this video really reminded me of my great backpacking trips back in the appalachians, and now, its time to get off my ass and find some trails to hike! THanks!

Every time you talk about melting your boots or gaiters, I remember when I was a Boy Scout at Camp Freedom in Dautphe, W. Germany, in the mid-1980s. I was standing in a fire pit that had been extinguished. The bottom was stone and I was sweeping it out. One of the older scouts, who happened to be a German national (but in the BSA), said to me rather politely, "Excuse me, Christian, but I do believe you boots are melting."
