Thank you so much Nutnfancy and Crocket, you guys are awesome to bring cameras along on these adventures to bring the outdoors to KZbin! I know it is a lot of work and takes serious amounts of time for filming, it is a chore! The fact that you put out so many videos that are such high quality, there is no way you are not legit, no one who was putting on an act would go so far out of his way to do such awesome things for us! Thank you again!!!!!

nutnfancy delivers again. very inspiring vid. cant wait for pt2. Its hard to show how steep your climbing without far off, wide angle, zoomed in shots that would be impractical to shoot. i love the picturesque shot at 22:40.

I love the Norse Hawk. I have one myself but did some modifications to it to make it look more like an antique. Stripping the cheap paint coat and forcing a patina also helped with overall rust resistance. All in all great for the price, but it's much better with a little work.

Thanks Veri, really appreciate it! I know he was planning on it anyway. He has a tough balance because I know he probably gets more requests on gun reviews, etc, but I can appreciate both. With a 3.5 year old son, I've been dusting off my old backpacking gear and replacing as needed. I really appreciate the camping/hikiing/backpacking vids because getting outside and being active is what is all about! I should specify the pack is his Kelty Eagle 7850. Thank you!

Nice country. I was out there for first rifle elk season, and if you aren't in shape when you get there, you won't make it a mile without keeling over. I have a black lab as well, and I'll keep the jacket in mind, but he never sees that kind of cold in ATL. If he ever needs one it will be the floatation/duck-type. Keep up the good work.
@lawlpally14 жыл бұрын
thanks for the vid. i especially like seeing how you camp with your dog, logistically speaking, as i camp with my dog, too, and it's sometimes more of a challenge keeping two of us alive, opposed to just myself. especially in dangerously low temperatures. my dog thanks you for the lessons on camping with pets. i'm camping out in the snow storm that's supposed to be coming this weekend. not near as cold this, though. mid 20s is all.

Wonderful! My wife watched with me...and was super pleased to meet Allie on this adventure. Too bad our dogs are more closely similar to Meth Labs than Mtn Labs these days. Our black one is tough enough but the chocolate is getting too old for much more than 2 mile hikes. Great Job putting in the work. Next time tell the 'Quitters'; Your either Nutn' Up or Shuttin Up

Way to rock out in the cold weather, Nutn. In Alaska, I welcomed winter, so I could hike without worrying about bears. Once, I was hiking outside Anchorage in some subzero temps and managed to hole up in a snow cave I found while I waited out the cold. I have no idea who made the cave (my guess is boyscouts), but it saved my bacon. Always be prepared but get out there rock out in the wild.

I love Allie's expression at 10:50. It is like come on guys what are you waiting for, let's go guys. Where did you get the pack she is carrying? I have 2 Golden Retrievers that usually go with me and would love to let them pack some things in.
@TigerRagFishingTeam13 жыл бұрын
Please do a table top on the pack....very interested. Like more info on it. Have it saved in my wish list ready to order when I hear more info. Most reviews I've read a fairly positive on it. Weight being one detriment and the other that it doesn't really have the durability of a military/tactical pack. When I read those, it sounded like guys not taking care of their gear though. May have to pull the trigger on it and test for myself this fall. Current pack is 5000 ci frame pack.

Great video. I live in Wa state and a 54 year old man went out hiking on 12/04 with his dog Shotgun. He told his wife where he was going to go and when he was coming back. The news story reported he was an experienced hiker but didn't bring the gear needed for an overnight winter camp. Sadly his body was found on the 6th. His dog had stayed with him the entire time, It's sad... but with the proper gear he might have been able to spend Christmas with his wife. =(
