Thanks, Becky, for another great video! I hoped that you would share how to machine embroider a large design as I was nervous to try it myself! Love how you share your tips and thought processes! You explain the steps so well, that even a beginner like myself can follow along! You're awesome!!

HA! You're a hoot! lol That's actually how Lori Holt describes those indentations in all of her designs. It's pretty funny now that you point it out. lol

I love watching and am learning so much. Where can we order the upcoming sew along?

Does the 10 needle have color sort like the Luminaire? If so, could that be used for this design instead of moving back and forth between the color stops?

I wish! If it does, I can't find it.

@@PowerToolsWithThread I think it may be the icon that has the two spools to one spool. I only have a six needle and XP2. Just researching the 10 needle.

Very pretty, would I be able to do something like that on my Husqvarna Epic 1?
@PowerToolsWithThread

Absolutely! You've got a nice big hoop on that machine so it should be pretty easy.

Ok, I must have missed something. Now did you get the main stalk of the plant on?
@PowerToolsWithThread
@PowerToolsWithThread Жыл бұрын
Sorry! I didn't film that. It was the first hooping in the Luminaire. If your hoop isn't that big, then it can be sewn on with a domestic machine.

Hi. How did you do the multi hooping for the stem?
@PowerToolsWithThread
@PowerToolsWithThread Жыл бұрын
The stems were done in a single hooping on the Luminaire in the 10x16 hoop. If you don't have a hoop that large, you can stitch it down on a domestic machine and then embroider the rest. There is a way to do a split-hooping for this, but you need software and it's very difficult to do. I always take the path of least resistance, so a domestic is the way I'd go.

Can we do this in PE design 11?
@PowerToolsWithThread
@PowerToolsWithThread Жыл бұрын
I don't use PE11 but I searched the User Manual. You CAN import the .fcm file from the SNC into PE11. This link shows how. support.brother.com/g/s/hf/htmldoc/ped/im/ped11/en/PED11_EN/index.html#!/09_1806366 Once you have the fcm file imported, I think you can use the Applique Wizard to convert it to applique. support.brother.com/g/s/hf/htmldoc/ped/im/ped11/en/PED11_EN/index.html#!/07_1809016/07_180901607_1809016
