PT01 Tonearm Rotate Trick tutorial

Many people asked me how to rotate the tonearm for left fader hand. Here is a quick video tutorial about the mod. You can do the same with your geniune pt01 tonearm!

Have you thought of bringing out a tone arm mounting plate to mount the tone arm in the position for the fader for right hand scratchers , if it is possible?

Ive done the modding but now my platter keeps spinning all the time. And is this a good thing for the needle as the record is now spinning in a reverse motion towards the tonearm.

Wilber De Wet Hey, you missed the black plastic part rotation (tonearm axis). That need to be contact with the little start stop switch in rest position. Better way if you add a start stop button.

but doesnt it make needle work as you would would back spinning when records play and play normally when you backspin? also if you do it with original tone arm wouldnt it wear vinyl even more?

No its the same shit since scratch needles/vinyl are meant for it

it could work maybe with the needle angled as you point but I'm not sure how it will perform... at thingyverse you can find straight tonearm printable for pt01 or handytraxx. ;)
