►A LITTLE ABOUT ME: I'm Dean Wolfe, a mostly self-taught Canadian guitarist/composer/multi-instrumentalist/singer/producer/performer. I started out as a full time musician, on the road at age 17-19, then went part-time ever since, holding 'day-careers' like chef (red seal papers), spiritual health care while raising a family. As a producer I've made hundreds of my own songs for media and award winning documentaries etc. I've been in several bands including a prog/jazz fusion act nFuze, playing International Jazz festivals and jazz clubs. I mostly abandoned the prog genre in the '90s but have returned to it now with vigour 30 years later. My own prog band was rejected by record labels as "too progressive' in the late 80s, so i explored grunge, pop rock and alternative, alt-folk / acoustic fingerstyle guitar and ambient electronic as well. Recently i found shoegaze and lo-fi as well. I have a home studio that is ramping up for lots more music so stay tuned.

They have stated some of their main influences: Kanami : Santana, MISA : Smashing Pumpkins, Paz Lenchantin, Jimi Hendrix Akane : Maximum The Hormone, Deep Purple, Miku : Sheena Ringo/Tokyo Jihen, Saiki : SiM (Happy Birthday today Saiki)! There are probably more that I forgot. BUT, without Miku discovering Sheena Ringo's Tokyo Jihen project Band-Maid would not exist!

You probably didn't appreciate her vocal as much in the past because it wasn't as good as it is now. Her vocal ability has improved a lot during Covid lockdown. It already starting to get better after 2018 but now...she's just incredible, especially live. Her breath control and sense of rhythm were always amazing but she even sounds incredible on fancams. Her voice dances with other instruments while delivering the song with so much emotions.

Great analysis and Akane's drums are there but a bit back in the mix. I believe this was the second song composed by the band and their second MV (Alone was the first song accepted by the label and first MV of one of their songs).
