What a great tune! I immediately added the whole album to my playlist. I haven't heard about them before even though I have been trying to search for good bands from all over the world. Well, luckily there's a lot of good music still to be found. Thanks for this review Dean.

Spinetta was the great inspiration and idol of Soda Stereo's leader Gustavo Cerati. Try Gustavo's feat in Spinetta's "Bajan", live

Really? What instrument is spinetta playing in this song? Bass? Keys?

you have to continue with spinetta and his bands pesca rabioso, invisible or jade is an incredible repertoire even his solo albums like 18 minutes of the sun. Themes such as Ghost Train Stewardess, Styrofoam, Lucuma Juice, Captain Beto's Ring, Yellow Bridges Cantata, Club Cemetery, Alarm Between Los Angeles, With the Shadow of Your Ally and so on many tremendous themes. greetings from Argentina.

HI Dean, I repeat the suggestion made in the other tube: the bass player (the uruguayan Beto Satragni) shines particularly in songs as "Amenabar" and "Con la sombra de tu aliado" from the same album.

i loved what you said about the train going on a mission. I have that problem with most prog music, like yeah all those arrangements and weird time signatures sound really fun but i need something to grab me on an artistic sense, maybe lyrics, maybe a story, a concept, etc. That's why i foccus so much on conceptual stuff and lyrics with my own music, i like depth

Invisible (pronounce it "inviseeblai") is a kind of hard/prog power trio of jazz trained musicians. If I should suggest you one song from each album I'd say, cronologically: Suspension, Durazno sangrando and Perdonado (niño condenado) the only song of their masterpiece "El jardín de los presentes" in which they play as a trio. In the rest of the album and in addition to other guest musicians, a young prodigy named Tomas Gubitsch plays lead guitar as the fourth member of the band.

Hi, you have just entered Spinetta' universe (kind of our Frank Zappa), it's a one-way ticket, nothing gonna be the same🙌

Suggestion: Sometimes you are out of context or out of chronology, you should at least watch "Break it all" (Rompan Todo @Netflix), a documentary by Gustavo Santaolalla (with which I disagree) but at least it places us in space and time.😉

Google translate: As I thought I understood that what you liked the most was the progressive trios of the 70's, that's why I hoped you would enter the "Spinetta world" with Invisible, but well, you started with a fusion of the 80's to meet "Flaco" and that's fine, so I'll sit and wait... By the way, a reaction to the Crimson jazz trio wouldn't be bad :-) Original Castellano: Como creí entender que lo que mas te gustaba era los trios progresivos de los 70' por eso esperaba que entraras al "mundo Spinetta" con Invisible , Pero bueno, arrancaste con fusion de los 80' para conocer al "Flaco" y está bien ,así que me sentaré a esperar ...Por cierto una reacción al Crimson jazz trio no estaria mal :-)
