PT6 2023 Hawk-X 250 Cut the hump of seat, modify stock carb and cruising back roads

Finally cut the hump of the stock seat, used a hacksaw blad, worked very good, then took off the stock carb, removed tamper stuff, adjusted the mixture out 2 1/14 turns, put a 110 main jet, kept the stock pilot jet. Definitely an improvement. Cruised down some back roads and tested top speed, and a wheelie!

The KPX 250 for sure. It's taller and has a flat seat and of course fuel injection more power and an actual 250cc engine overhead cam

@dabs8853 haha yes unfortunately that's kind of the way it goes... My only gripe with the hawk TBR Raven all those is that hump in the seat And if you're taller it's really a pain, it's even a pain for shorter people that's why I always shave that hump right off then it's not as bad

No, this is actually kind of like memory foam believe it or not. The old clock seats were styrofoam and not nearly as comfortable

i just put (EBC heavy duty clutch springs CSK41) in my hawk X 250 and what a difference, no more clutch chatters and much smoother shifting, super easy to install too,i highly recomend it for the hawks👍

@@MotoCheez Rusty chinnesium outta the crate. Sea lvl here so I couldn't make it breath without a carb n a crappy fitting crf pipe. Just a junky lame poor quality rust prone machine. Very poor quality. Very poor quality. Yeah an that pile of stripped everything? mmmhmm kinda made me mad. I could go on. A jap bike is a million times better for just few more bones.

16:30 time for a sprocket change. Upgear by 25%, then tell us the difference. My 125 pusheod engine did 63, and so does my vadwr 150.

I'm in the process of getting the scooter prepped for this season. Just got a new cheaper insurance policy put on it yesterday. Put the new lithium battery in it today that I bought for it over winter time. Just have to re-new the registration and get it inspected again. Then she'll be all set to ride for the summer. I took the Hawk off of the insurance because it didn't get ridden last season. There was little to no riding at all last season, it was nothing but rain all summer. I'll need to eventually turn in the plate for it to get it off the road. It's also going to have knobby tires put back on it eventually and it's just going to be used as a dirt bike. :)
