All of the rust restoration underneath is finished and metal fabrication so i finally got to paint some primer for protection, now its time to move on to the engine bay

Thanks Michael i have to do things properly! Primer was from my local paint supplier but im sure you can get it online. Rs is having floors replaced atm

I was thinking of pulling the engine etc out of mine over the winter to give it a refresh under the bonnet as it's got a bit tatty after 15 years, what do you think about removing the abs ? Mine has tarox 6 pots and the brakes aren't that good to be honest 😒. Keep up the good work it's going to be one of the best in the country when it's done 👍🏼

Do it mate! You will enjoy it. Dont remove Abs even on my track car it will save you. You need a Vxr master. Thanks mate thats the aim 👌🏻

Aaron Unknown im going to do it because I’ve got a couple of annoying little oil leaks and i want to replace the gearbox as it’s tight going into gear and starting to whine. I will give the vxr master cylinder a go 👍🏼

I have a few sets i have taken from engines in my garage. I wouldn’t use them on my builds but i haven’t heard of failures as yet. FCP rods are my choice up to 500 then big hp engines i use Arrow
