When you enter a car parked under hot sun.: 1. Wind the windows down 2. Put air blower in high mode 3. Switch off Ac 4. Put air circulation into fresh air mode Continue to drive and Wait for sometime for hot air to be expelled. 5. Once the air is ok. Roll back the windows and switch on the AC. Doing so will reduce the load on the refrigerant and prevent it from escaping.

அவுங்க சொல்வது சிலது சரி.. சிலது அடிச்சு விடுற மாதிரி இருக்கு. 1. Tyre air pressure என்பது வண்டி use பொறுத்தது. Comfort வேணுமா.. mileage வேணுமா..என்பதை பொறுத்தது.. PSI அளவு டிரைவர் side இல் இருக்கும். Owner's manual லும் இருக்கும். Highway driving மட்டும் போனால் கொஞ்சம் அதிகம் வைத்துக்கொள்ளலாம். கார் சும்மா இருந்தாலும் pressure குறைந்துவிடும். Monthly once check பண்ணுவது நல்லது. 2. Service என்பதும் பயன்பாடு பொறுத்தது. ஒவ்வொரு காருக்கும் service schedule கொடுத்திருப்பார்கள். சாதாரணமாக 1 year or 10000 kms interval கொடுத்திருப்பார்கள்.( முதல் மூன்று free service முடிந்த பிறகு). இதை அப்படியே பின்பற்றலாம். ( அப்படி செய்தால்தான் நிம்மதி என்றால்).. Short distance daily ஓட்டுபவர்கள் கொஞ்சம் முன்னாலேயே service செய்வது நல்லது. வருடத்துக்கு இரண்டுமுறை என்பதெல்லாம் அந்த காலம். குழப்பம் எப்போது வரும் என்றால் பயன்பாடு குறைவாக ( low usage) இருக்கும்போது.. suppose ஆண்டுக்குக்கு 5000km தான் ஓடியிருக்கு. அப்போ ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் service செய்ய வேண்டுமா அல்லது இரெண்டு ஆண்டுக்கு ஒரு முறை செய்தால் போதுமா என்பதுதான். என்னை பொறுத்தவரை( 4 கார்கள் வைத்திருந்த experience) distance பார்த்து service செய்தாலே போதும். Yearly செய்யவேண்டும் என்ற அவசியம் இல்லை. Again இதுவும் usage பொறுத்தது. Highway driving மட்டும் என்றால் இது ஓகே. அதே போல yearly 1000km தான் ஓட்டம் என்றால் அதுக்காக 10 ஆண்டுகள் ( 10000km ஓட 10 ஆண்டுகள் ஆகும்) வரை காத்திருக்க கூடாது. 3 ஆண்டுகளில் service செய்யலாம். 3. டீசல் கார்களை பொறுத்த வரையில் இப்போதெல்லாம் பெட்ரோல் கார்கள் போல maintenance சுலபம் தான். ஆனால் BS6 வந்ததால் கொஞ்சம் problem ஆகிவிட்டது. 4. கார் cover போடாமல் இருப்பது நல்லது. வெய்யில் காலத்தில் எலிகளுக்கு கவர் போடப்பட்ட கார்கள் வசதியாக போய்விடும். அதைவிட கவர் இல்லாமல் இருப்பது நல்லது. எலி வருவது தெரிந்தால் Napthelene balls, Tobacco, repellent spray, trap , electronic repeller , பூனை இப்படி ஒவ்வொன்றாக பயன்படுத்தி நமக்கு எது சரியாக வருகிறது என்று பார்க்கவேண்டும். 5. என்னுடைய personal opinion : ceramic coating, polish லொட்டு லோசுக்கு இப்படி எதுவும் தேவையில்லை. ஒழுங்காக water wash செய்தாலே போதும். கார் beauty என்பது மற்றவர்களுக்கு தானே தவிர கார் ஓட்டும்போது நம்மால் பார்க்க முடியாது. நமக்கு interior தான் முக்கியம். 6. Engine oil பார்ப்பதற்கு அதிலேயே ஒரு மெட்டல் rod இருக்கும்( குச்சி எல்லாம் வைத்து பார்க்க தேவையில்லை.). இரண்டு குறிகளுக்கு இடையில் oil அளவு இருந்தால் போதும். 7. Coolant அளவு குறைந்திருந்தால் radiator இல் விடக்கூடாது. அருகில் இருக்கும் overflow டேங்கில் விடவேண்டும். Coolant தான் விட வேண்டும் என்று இல்லை. RO water போதும் . Coolant கூட manual இல் இரண்டு ஆண்டு அல்லது 20000km interval என்று போட்டிருக்கும். இதுவும் கலர் மாறினால் அல்லது அடிக்கடி water ஊத்தியதால் green color நன்றாக குறைந்து விட்டாலோ மாற்றினால் போதும். 8. Brake fluid 2years/ 20000km interval . Atleast 3 ஆண்டுக்கு ஒரு முறை மாற்றுவது நல்லது. ( வண்டி ஓடவில்லை என்றாலும்) Brake fluid இல் ஈரப்பதம் காரணமாக தண்ணீர் கலந்து விட வாய்ப்பு உண்டு. அதனால் brake பிடிக்காமல் போக வாய்ப்பு உண்டு. 8. AC cabin filter எல்லா கார்களிலும் வருவதில்லை. ஆனால் எல்லா காருக்கும் ஃபில்டர் போட வசதி இருக்கிறது. புதிய காரில் இல்லை என்றால் முதல் service செய்யும்போது சொன்னால் அவர்கள் மாட்டி விடுவார்கள். AC effect குறைந்தால் முதலில் இந்த ஃபில்டரை சரி பார்த்துவிட்டு மற்ற இடங்களுக்கு போகவேண்டும்.AC fresh air mode இல் அதிகம் ஓட்டினால் ஃபில்டர் அடிக்கடி மாற்ற வேண்டியிருக்கும் .

No it won't jam the brake drums. Hand brake's main purpose is to ensure it offers stoppage when the vehicle is at rest or in a sloppy surface. It is not related to the main brakes. The problem in parking the car in a gear is it could harm the transmission. Especially, if the surface is inclined or slope, then it would create a lot of stress to the transmission and could harm it. The cost of repairing such transmission issues is very high compared to any possible issues in hand brake. Worst case scenario of a problem that could happen when parked with hand brakes on is when the car has been parked for a long time say few months, unattended, then it could accumulate some dust etc but its easy to clean up and maintain.

Old or new cars the radiator coolant level needs to be checked. It needs to be checked either in radiator or the coolant extension tank. If the coolant extension tank is there the you need not to open the radiator. The extension/ expansion tank level can be checked from outside without opening.

The information are liitle misleading.. For Hyundai Venue the recommended Tyre pressure is 36psi for 185/65 tyre & 33psi for 205/55 tyre. Unless you have a Low Tire pressure warning system, the tyres have to be periodically checked for their pressure.

Hi to all, i am having tata punch, sometimes i felt some petrol smell while driving on a rough roads. I have checked with the service team in showroom. But they are telling everything is normal ( we have rided together around 20 km. At that time no smell found) after that we went for a long trip with family, that time often we noticed that petrol smell. While filling petrol in tank some gas was released. After that 2 to 3 hrs no smell we found. So if the smell found now we opening petrol tank lid and releasing the gas then we r driving. Any body experienced this kind of issues please suggest solution. Physically their is no damage in any tubes

It totally depends on your individual preference. Some may like 23 and other may like 24. Some may like some other number

It depends upon how cold you require. If it's climate control Ac the compressor will automatically attain the reached temperature and will slow down. You can keep the temperature as per you preference. Usually I keep between 23 to 24 in which I feel comfortable. Low is 16 which will be too cold for me and I won't prefer it

It's basically the logic is that the buttons are provided to keep the Ac for your comfort. Similar to home Ac. In a good condition Ac 23 is good cooling. Some may prefer even little less. It all depends upon comfort of the particular individual.

@@chandrasekaransrinivasan9319 low is basically 16 degrees. In a good condition Ac it will be too chill and it will not be comfortable. People have tendency to keep it in low and once chill is felt then increase the temperature though it's not required.
