Hi Jay and E2 language team, your methods helped a lot in my PTE prepartion. I achieved the 79+ score in my 3rd attempt and overall of 87. In the speaking section though, I observed that mostly fluency is what matters rather than grammar, content or structure. I initially struggled in speaking while I started practicing, but eventually scored a hat-trick of 90's in speaking in all my 3 attempts, by just focusing on fluency. Read aloud, describe image and retell lecture

​@@mohibsheikh9257 At the end practice makes perfect. RA - You should remember to say sentences as if you're speaking your native language. I am not talking about the accent, but the actual pauses that we take to take a breath while completing a sentence. The chunks made should convey proper information and should not seem as if you took a mid-way break. DI - Its not very tough. You need to create the basic template in mind. Then put the new data in that template. Retell lecture - Note down key concepts. Try and understand the theme the user/users are trying to convey. You dont need to convey all the points said in it, its simply not possible ! I followed Jay's concept and test papers of tcyonline.com. I also gave Pearson's mock test (for which result comes in 3-4 days). Lots of practice !

Hi Jay, really appreciate your help. I took my exam yesterday and I was aiming for an overall score 58. I only have one week preparation for the test and surprisingly I got an overall score of 74.. I was so shocked and didn't expect that i would get 90 in speaking, 90 in pronunciation and 80 oral fluency as I messed up a lot in describe image and retell lecture but I must say I really did well in read aloud. I am not an English expert and even not a native speaker, but for my best knowledge - at 13:27 the word "knows" should not be pronounced with "z" at the end, and at 13:31 the word "spoons" should not be pronounced with "z" at the end? If I am wrong will be glad to know this, because till now I used to say "z" in such cases.

Thank you Jay! This was my first time doing the PTE test. I only went through your videos a day before the test and had an overall score of 81. I kept losing marks on time. The timer would catch up with me before i completed my writing and short answers so i scored 70 in writing. Next time i will start early and hopefully score overall above 90. @@belaprajapati4100 Hi Bela, my advice is to check out all of the methods demonstrated by Jay on his videos, as they really do make the tasks easier and more structured. For speaking, just remember that fluency and spontaneity matter more than content, so just keep talking as fluently as you can and avoid lengthy pauses.

Thanks a lot Jay. Very helpful. Just a feedback if you record this again, or show in a class, for key 4, when you highlighted the mixing letters in red, I couldn't read it properly. I'm confident that I could have applied the key, if the original transcript for displayed and then highlited where we should be mixing. It's just about the placement of the letters

Hi jay I love your classes, they are very informative. In addition, I have watched all your video and I have learnt a lot. I actually don’t have problem with fluency I even got 90 in my last test in fluency and score about 70 in speaking, writing discourse was 90 and score 65. Moreover I have attended two PTE class which cost about $650 each. Taking mock test more than three and hard fantastic result but each Time i go into the actual exam, even making sure I do everything right following all your suggestions and templates there is nothing good forthcoming. I think PTE is ALTERING our result, what they do is a random selection to pass a few test taker or otherwise, why are they not providing transcript. It has taking me over a year now working day and night and am so tired 😓 I feel like giving up. PTE and other exam are thieves because they know we need it for migration purposes so they try to milk us. Shame on PTE.
