If it's a private server, then yes cloudflare is fine to use. If it's a public/resold servers then you shouldn't use cloudflare as it will break things for outside users

I found a solution to the problem: In my router's dashboard, I configured the specific device to be an "exposed host" and I forwarded port 443 which is the port used for https requests. You have to do this before starting the installation process. After doing this, everything worked like a charm
