Best description I’ve heard of that 1-2-1 he kept landing. It didn’t hurt that Bakhram was so much bigger. 3.5 inches in reach and 2.5 in height. And every punch hurt Tim. Bakhram looked really drained and still had so much power. He must cut a ton of weight. And Tim needs all new corner people or else he needs to listen. One or the other wasn’t happening

He never had focus, or at least not the right focus. He was standing straight up. He wasn't defending, he was just trying to walk straight through Bakhram. In short, Tim was overconfident and strategically inept. I'm still in shock because Kostya and everyone else with a boxing brain was saying Tim needs to wear his opponent down, be cautious early and get Bakhram in the later rounds when he tends to fade.
@Alex-bd4ovАй бұрын
He shouldn't have taken that fight man. Bakhram is Russian, you can't take a fight against an undefeated Russian after a devastating loss. Tim's people are pushing him extremely fast and it's reckless.

It's very disappointing, and sadly, we all have an option. I believe the entire Tszyu camp didn't take this dude seriously. They were all talking like Tim had already won the fight two weeks ago. Tim buying a house in Vegas once he beats Bakhram. Who is on their radar list, talking shit about Bakhram eating habits. They did the same with Fundora, and they got the same result tonight. Koysta flying in two days out, seriously no one could see that Tim had lost focus, way way way to many distraction. Hence, he got a good old lesson handed to him. I'm a huge Tim fan, and l truly hope he comes back and better, man.

Tim took Bakhra lightly. Didn't adjust. Got clocked over and over like Haney did from Garcia. If Tim came in with movement laterally, and cautious, like some othwr fights, would've gone longer and possibly won.
@franklinsainthustle5285Ай бұрын
I'm sure the Fact that a disgraced PED cheat like Garcia....whose win was overturned over Devin and who by the way still couldn't knock him out is very similar to Tim getting his head beat in and KO'd by a undefeated Russian champion! 😂
@gypsyman1939Ай бұрын
Really had high hopes on Tim. Him and team didn’t learn nothing from Fundora loss and came into this fight way way over looking the champ. This fight was like a prospect with 6 fights going up against an undefeated champ! Very bad look for Tim and a major blow to his career. Pbc is in a lot of trouble. When Tim hit him with everything he had and it did nothing Tim knew he was in major trouble. The champ can take a punch.
@StarLasersАй бұрын
PBC isn't in trouble. PBC cam sign Bakram and puch him as the guy at 154. It's Tszyu who is in trouble. PBC will probably drop Tszyu and then what happens to Tszyu's career?

Victim of his own pride and hubris. I don’t feel sorry for him. If it wasn’t for his daddy, he wouldn’t even be in that position in the first place. Not a real fighter; was just trying to emulate his daddy, and he failed miserably. Not a fan of the children of superstar fighters trying to emulate their parents. Boxing rarely works that way.

We wont be seeing timmy get any big opportunities for about a year. He definitely showed his true colors when he stopped fighting for a whole 3 seonds, to check if he was bleeding or not, that's a big no-no. His opponent even stopped fighting as well to let Time check his forehead for blood... Tim came off like the real deal, but it's clear that he's not as good that he (or fans) thought he was.

No man. This is the problem with boxing. Most guys are cherry picking. We should encourage them to take risks. That way we really know who the best is. You notice in ufc a guy can get koed or lose a couple fights in a row and it doesn’t ruin their career. As fans we have this be more accepting of our fighters that lose so that they continue to take risks

@quintoneriya796 I agree with you. But his team was and is reckless; they should have stopped the fight after the cut with Fundora-they didn't. They should have allowed Tim to regain confidence... to test the cut out by taking a "soft touch", before throwing him into the lion's den.

The question now is how much damage does this leave Tim with! Tim is basically a brawler with some skills and now if he has chin damage he won't be able to do what he's been doing! Tim definitely needs to work on his defense and he needs to be a lot more strategic with his offense going forward because the damage he took in this fight and the Fundora fight leaves me with questions about his ability to take punches going forward! Btw i picked him to win! Tim should take a year off and get back to defense fundamentals before taking another fight and i think he needs a couple of soft touch tune ups before challenging anyone in the top 10! I wish him nothing but the best going forward and I hope he fixes his defensive issues!

I knew this would happen , Tim stood flat footed with no head movement rite in front of a banger , there was no hand speed , Tim only relying on his power when he did land on Bhakram it didn’t phase him or even move him , Bhakram is made from granite an there a reason why fighters haven’t chased his belt his to strong , he beats Spence easily an fundora to , would also be a tough fight for Crawford , that strong fast jab of Bhakram will trouble all the big name , fighters need to study him hard before stepping in the ring with him

Tim’s tactics were totally wrong.Kept going forward as if he thought he was bullet proof and getting hit.He needs some rehab re focus and mindset and work on his defence.We know he’s a lot better than this.Then after refocusing have a few fights and then a rematch with Fundora would be ideal and take it from there.His dad should take over the reins from the sloppy management he’s had.

Fact from this bloke, Tim has had the head cut living rent free in his head for 7 months , he got a head clash and shit himself over a possible cut , then everything he knows about fighting went out the window , trying to clip old mate and ending it, he needs a fresh new team around him , even stay in the states and see if he can hook up with some good trainers and promotors.. he should maybe get on the phone to the Sheik and do some ass kissing?
