I've got nothing against our vetrins and it is wonderful that there is something out there to help them but why is it that there is hardly anything to help the ones who lived with hell in their own home.

It's not just from combat. Abuse of all types can cause PTSD and other disorders. Military training in and of itself is enough to cause severe emotional and psychological problems in many.

What is CBT? I have just been diagnosed with CPTSD and am doing stage one work with Sandtray, as the emdr is too in depth and dfficult for me to deal with. Is there any kind of specific meditation that you would suggest?
