Great video. I am a independent estimator who is also here in Florida(South) I work with Public Adjuster’s and attorneys and it is obvious those who are successful and settle claims quickly and efficiently are organized, knowledgeable, attentive to detail and honest. I just received my certificate from AdjusterPro and my license is on the way. I enjoyed your video, excellent information. I am currently trying to find a mentor someone i can call. I recently sold my auto dealership of 7 years and own Contractors Group of Texas for last 15 years. Let me know what you think?. I am a very aggressive businesses person looking for the right spot. Vince regardless of your decision its an absolute pleasure to meet you.

Prepare the client for the recorded statement never participate Louisiana laws are tricky, always be respectful until backed into a corner without any other options, had a half dozen of them surround me in a corner December 2020 answered the same question's then snapped causing a couple of them to step back letting me out. Never back down as the Public Adjuster can't show weakness or it will be taken advantage of. If your having trouble at the meeting being overwhelmed just take pictures and point out the damage without speaking sometimes is powerful. Know a lot of really cool independent adjusters that's a lot of fun working with, if you pay attention you can learn some tricks from them they are usually happy to help just ask.

Funny you say no fluff. Most PAs I deal with daily have the most amount of fluff in their estimates. Like $20-$30k in fluff. Great video. Wish every PA was like you. As staff I just want to finalize especially with all the info upfront.

@@CommercialClaimsShow I would agree, lots of IAs that can lack the know how or stick to their company estimating guidelines to the letter. I understand that for sure.

Thank you for all your advice. Why would you say it took you 5 years to really start seeing the money flow in? Do connections play a big role now in your success, if so what are the must have "connections"? General contractors? Realtors? Mitigation?

What do you do when the insurance company will not give you a second inspection when you know there was damage omitted on the first inspection? from a hail claim.
@CommercialClaimsShow2 жыл бұрын
Hey Ricky! Photographs, photographs, and more photographs! Prove to them the damage is there, and they will have no choice but send someone out to physically inspect

Hey man I really enjoyed this. I’m a PA from St. Pete (office in Tampa). I haven’t been at it for all that long so I’m looking to absorb any knowledge I can. I’ve been pretty much doing everything you’ve mentioned except for #6 the recorded statement prep. Can you give some pointers or do u have the list of questions? Also what do you use to get measurements of exteriors. I came up to Pensacola for Sally claims. Lots of exterior damage. Downloaded Hover app which gives you a 3D model of the house and if you pay like $40 PER PROPERTY it will give you the dimensions as well (exportable to .esx). Is there any better/cheaper way of doing this?

Hi Daniel! Yes, of course. If the condo owner can no longer live in his/her condo as a result of a loss, then they should definitely get LOU for that.
