Staltt shouldn't have used this clip to punish his friends, he might have thought that it'd be good to shame them which is from a good place but I don't think he realised that in the process he was using Access' reaction to punish them, basically just making sure that Access would get upset by it. Its always important to consider the victim first before anything else, ideally he could've just cut it out and spoke to sam about it, Poob didn't seem to even like what was being said when they said it so it really was just on Sam to maybe think about what he says a bit more. That said I know how hard it is to change how to speak to or about people, you notice how differently people talk about bullying online as compared to bullying irl, the only people who are too far either way are terminally online and never even talk to people irl so they just think its easy. I think Sam probably already knows this, only thing he can do is just keep it about your friends and at least try to catch yourself when you're doing it, even if it means you start to run out of topics, I doubt you want your kids to check your videos when they're older and think that their dad spent hours of his life making fun of random people online.

Very sweet apology. Fan of the podcast and because of that I understand that the laughs come from a lighthearted place but I think the feedback from accessarea is very very important. It’s good to be lighthearted but it’s also good to be sensitive when it matters most. I’m glad to see the boys reflect in light of an outside perspective ❤

Accessarea6 is a smaller KZbinr that does videos abt old video games and is wholesome and cool and they were making fun of his looks saying he’s homeless or a crackhead etc. when he’s actually just terminally ill and needs a lung transplant. Poob later realizes that and feels awful for riffing but the riff was already riffed

I have to say, some of you people are really toxic. Having seen AccessArea6 video on him watching Sam and Poob rip on him, I could hear it in his voice how sad he was. A person that's not doing well but still trying to make people happy with his content with a debilitating illness getting made fun off can seriously cause depression. We're all human at the end of the day, and words really can hurt when you're already down. I have massive respect for Sam and Poob for making this apology, showing that they took the joke too far. The people egging AccessArea6 for being too thin skinned can literally fk off.

Sam and Poob did the right thing by apologizing but this is accessarea6's official response to this video "It was a very poor attempt at an apology, who apologises while laughing" followed by "They didn't do a very good job of it, who starts laughing while trying to apologize.
