I got sad news guys, basically, this update doesn't let you play ANY AUDIOS in ANY GAME, You are unable to play your audios in the game unless the owner of the game has the audio in their inventory. This “public audios” feature essentially just allows anyone who wants access to your audio to access your audio, instead of only people you are friends with or games you have team create access to.

I like how ROBLOX assumes they'll be able to enforce that rule. If they somehow manage to do so with accuracy, then that would mean they are willfully neglecting moderation of its more important sour-spots, which would heavily hurt their reputation, and if they don't do anything about it at all, then they'll just get sued again. When roblox says they need a grant. Its because if you are the true owner of the audio, you can strike/sue roblox for allegedly allowing the audio. So adding the grant and the legal notices makes it more airtight to stop incidents like this.

For those of you crapping your pants over having to verify your age, let’s clear a few things up: 1) ROBLOX doesn’t process your data; a legitimate third party company called Persona handles it and returns the validation of data to ROBLOX, so to confirm that your age has been approved by the system. 2) According to ROBLOX’s policy around ID verification, Persona only keeps your data stored for up to 90 days, which after that period is completely deleted altogether, this should eliminate concerns around your data being kept for collection and redistribution. (if they didn’t adhere to this you could literally sue them lol) 3) You guys have a right to access data collected about you, as well as a right to have it removed as per Article 17 of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), AKA the “right to be forgotten”, as data can only be collected for an intended purpose(s) which the user consented to. In essence, you can request a removal of data to confirm its deletion after said purpose to verify your age has been completed and the 90 days agreement has been exceeded, but this is unlikely to be necessary. Nevertheless, always feel free to reach out to Persona or Roblox Support if there are any concerns around how your data is being used whilst on the platform.

The update is BASICALLY useless since you cant play audios in any games unless the owner of the game has the audio in their inventory, it's pointless since no developers will just get random audios in their invetories.
