Public school vs. Private School For Special Needs Kids

As long as public schools do bare minimum,.it is very difficult to put kids into the system and hope for the best. You're right about being very involved in the process.

Our public schools in Georgia are horrible. Especially where I live. It has been a nightmare for my 6 year old son who has autism. He hates school. So we decided to home school him until middle school

It ain't gonna change the system needs to open back up those school's and put them kid's where they belong. It is definitely not the public schools .

Special needs schools should not nor never put there hands on a kid I was in a private school I remember when I got my hands put on me I kicked that person in the balls I was 14 years old and yes I have a mild case of autism and I never have been to prison and I don’t drink or do drugs im in a a heavy metal band and I turned out just fine

It's was wrong to close down special educational school and replace kids with learning disability along with ODD and ADHD in a regular class room in the public school system. It is so wrong it's not right.
