Works for me (hybrid). I read my cogsci papers in Zotero, and books in Google Play Books. Then, it's off to the index cards.

Do you have books about polymathy and polymaths in history in your bookshelf, Scott? I’m just curious if you read books about polymathy and polymaths.

Why read books on polymathy when you can simply practice polymathy? 😎

@@scottscheper would be interesting if you talk about how the antinet is a powerful tool for polymaths for leonardo davinci wannabes. 🧐 And even ADHDers.

On your book, you could have used the subtitle, "A knowledge system that will turn you into a zettelkasten sh*t weasel"

That's the subtitle for the 2nd Edition

Hey, Scott. Recently, a channel that promotes zettelkasten through Obsidian declares that books are going to be obsolete, mentioning that information cannot be found except in a linear way. It talks about how the method of acquiring knowledge will be a compendium of many interactive things, which when remembering one of your latest videos made me think that it is a rather controversial, but interesting thought. He probably don't know the proper use of the index at the beginning of the book and in references where you talk about Luhmann's books being almost like a zettelkasten because of the footnotes, it is evident that they talk about the notes system without knowing it. Here I leave you the link, although it is in Spanish. 😄 Emowe: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aZqYdIiqicSNnKcsi=j6YrEhX4BKOBPSaN

I find this video spammy. Please stick to your target audience and leave the Obsidian users alone.
