I remember night firing n the tank range in Grafenwehr, Germany. The sky lot up with fiery explosions and the ground shook like an earthquake. Try sleeping thru that when you are camped near the tank range.

I did not realize that the US army anticipated sending in forces immediately after atomic attacks. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near where a nuclear blast went off to take out entrenched troops for at least two weeks, which would probably still be really unhealthy.

The attacking armors and infantry following the atomic attack? Are they really attacking or just try to catch the nuclear fall out and die bravely?
