I take HRT for over 20 years. I feel and I look younger than my age… I have discarded my MDs recommendations to not take my hormones: Estradiol and Progesterone

Dear Dr. Gersh, thank you so much for your informative videos. I have been watching them for months in order to educate myself about my early perimenopause and hrt. Long story short- after many months and blood tests my gynokologist finally prescribed me estradiol and progesterone. And allowed me to take it in line with my cycle. She originally wanted to put me on birth control- but thanks to your videos I could argue for what I really wanted. I feel so much better these days. What I noticed since taking estradiol, is that my HRV dropped drastically. Can you explain that?

Thank you for this wonderful lecture! I will see about accessing the full version of your publication via an email request as seems possible, in order to present it to my HRT provider MD here at Midwest Hormone Center in Lawrence, KS. I am very concerned about dosage and delivery systems to gain the broad ranging health benefits you mention in this and other podcasts. Hopefully, in your full article the table included will give dosages for injectable estradiol cypionate, which is the form currently preferred by my provider, usually combined with testosterone. I may phone your office to see what info your staff can offer re the above as it's terribly expensive to travel to California for a scientifically sound treatment, though that's not out of the question given the stakes involved! Thank you again!

I’m not sure if your video was delivered to my feed by AI, but holy moly that would be one positive aspect of AI. What on Earth boosts E2 production after menopause? Thank you for publishing the article and making the video!

Arent there other mechanisms in place in the body by which estradiol is produced?

As a previous PE sufferer (from BC), I am being advised that I cannot use systemic estrogen, and if I did, there’d be no way to monitor for blood clots. Is there any evidence supporting the use of s-equol as an alternative for HRT? Is only E2 effective in the heart tissue? Thank you!

Use the estradiol patch. It bypasses the liver therefore stopping any risk of clots. It’s when it’s taken in pill form by mouth and getting metabolized by the liver is when one has increased risk of blood clots and stroke. Patch or gel estradiol is safest

I never wanted to be a reproductive creature, and thankfully, never had children. But the question here is: could eating high estrogen foods also help with cardiovascular function, and other maladies associated with lack of hormones after 60?

All cancers are highly associated with insulin resistance, which is why cancer is aka type 4 diabetes ( type 3 is Alzheimer's).

Then we'd have breast cancer in our reproductive years. We live with hormones from adolescents. There's so much more to cancer than a hormone.

If you eat low refined carb and good fats, you will NOT have more inflammation in the body during menopause!

As long as those "good fats" are animal based. We cannot make hormones from plant sterols.
