Yes Chara has a hard shot but that doesn't mean Weber's shot is weak. Weber can get over 100 miles an hour with along with Chara and Weber's shot isn't that much slower.

Its easier for Chara to take a hard slapshot during the skill competition when he can wait and prepare, but during games he doesnt have that time to concentrate. Weber takes a good amount of hard slapshots every game thou'

Notorious BFG​ destroyed it bad. It's a good thing actually. Many will fear it a little more when it will come the time to jump in front of it to block it. Making the way to the series with more injured players will give a lot of confidence to the team with an healthy team. I feel bad for his teammate tho. Specially when you heard about the details of his upcoming surgery. But the surgery man is confident that he will fully recover without affecting his dexterity or fight capabilities.

I did the same thing 2 times with roller hockey puck. I was stnading at about the same distance as the player. The first time went through the net and kept on going for the short distance. The second time, halfly hooked on the net. So, it is possible! I am not NHL player and I had done it before. I believe there are smoe more people did this before as well.
