I just received this guitar today. It is INSANE! Del and I discussed the electronics and through his guidance, design, and craftsmanship this Beast came to life! I already owned one that I'd purchased through another builder but there's Zero comparison in quality, feel, or sound-even acoustically. If you want a killer CBG Del is the only guy to go to. He's a good guy and fun to work with.

I hope one day you will try installing a vibrato system on your future Cigar Box Guitar. I saw a 4 string vibrato system(like a Stratocaster one) online. I shall wait for the day where you will do a divebomb on a Cigar Box Guitar🤘🤘anyways, great video as always! I think, after many consideration, I'm gonna buy that psycho knob

Solder a strap wire between both leaves of the hinge. Well you answered my question. I have been thinking about doing just this electronics setup. I just couldn't decide if there would be a problem with the two. Can you try taking one battery out and see if both the peizo and psycho would operate on one battery.

That sounds so good! Before you tried it, I was wondering if the piezo and humbucker's waves might be inverted and cancel/interfere with each other, but it sure doesn't sound like that.

Hey Dale, man you are a master of this stuff and I absolutely love what you do. I know this is possible but my old brain can’t make a wrap around it and was wondering if you could help. Is it possible to install the psycho know and preamp in a separate box that would work with any CBG you plug into it? I don’t want to make this a part of any one guitar but would love to have it as an add in box to use with any CBG I plug into it, thoughts? Thanks mucho!

Works no drama, did it on a build I did for a bloke here in Australia, used a bit of calico, glued it on the inside of the lid, looked smart, like the old tweed amps do 👍😎

A little off topic of CBG but I'm curious as to how that physco knob would work with a double humbucker setup..?

I would expect it would work the same. wire both pickups to a switch... the output of the switch into the psycho... the output of the psycho into the volume control... volume control to the jack.

Hi Del. Is it possible to run the humbucker through the Equalizer pre-amp and then plug it into the main amp? I am amp illiterate and not sure if the amp would accept the higher input.
