Another beauty and it sounds great! I would love to see you build a guitar where everything on it was “rigged”. Nails for frets, wing nut / bolt tuners. Everything from scratch except the electronics. I’m sure it would be a royal pain but pretty awesome. If it was a fail it would still be a sweet wall hanger. I bet you’d pull it off though. Just thinking out loud.

have you ever considered making a CBG out of an old stratocaster? just replace the body with an x-large cigar box, and if you want to stick to the 3 string motif, just re-cut the nut and bridge to have 3 courses of 2 strings, rather than 6 courses of one string each (kind of like a 12 string guitar with the doubled strings, but with only 6 strings in 3 courses rather than 12 strings in 6 courses).

What is the string spacing at the bridge? You use a lot of hinges. Are they all the same screw hole spacing? Or do they vary? And. . . . do you maintain the same string spring down the neck to the nut? Sorry if these are elementary questions.

Del, got some of them 4 post bass pups frm CB Gitty. Striped top off like you do my question is how to mount pup on the wood seeing that the mounting holes are gone. Just hot glue them in? Thanks Kim
