Our church has a soup kitchen on Thursday nights (tonight) A guy brought that same amp and guitar. I was messing around with the effects just like you. Sometimes I think CBGs sound better than regular guitars on these little amps. I used your idea of putting the piezo under the rim on a resonator and it worked pretty good. I love this build so cool when you can use so much recycled stuff in one build. That's the way to do it.

Good old rusty ring shank nails in an oak pallet - they'll make you use words you didn't know you knew. Dang, great build!

For a resonator using a 1 gallon paint can lid, I cut the hole with a 6 1/8" hole saw on my drill press. Nice press fit that just pops right in. Got the hole saw on Amazon and it was a little pricey but it's one of those buy it once, use it forever things.

My Base Drive setting is: Distortion/Drive, Stereo Chorus, Delay and Reverb with a tad of Chorus. I'll add Flanger, Phaser or Boost as needed. Clean is Stereo Chorus with Delay and Reverb
