This song came out right when I was going through a divorce and I had to leave my 2 little boys when I moved out. Even though I just moved down the road a couple of miles it felt like it was a million when I couldn't see them every day. I missed them so much. I missed their voices and the smell of their hair and playing with them. Everything is fine now but everytime I hear this song I can't help but be transported back to that time when they were little. Tears are streaming down my face.

I hope and pray that neither of you ever have to go through that same pain. If you do, know that it is not the end. Keep fighting and you will make it through too. Blurry - Puddle Of Muddy Everything's so blurry and everyone's so fake And everybody's empty and everything is so messed up Preoccupied without you, I cannot live at all My whole world surrounds you, I stumble and I crawl You could be my someone, you could be my scene You know that I'll protect you from all of the obscene I wonder what you're doing, imagine where you are There's oceans in between us, but that's not very far Can you take it all away? Can you take it all away? Well, you shoved it in my face This pain you gave to me Can you take it all away? Can you take it all away? Well, you shoved it in my face Everyone is changing, there's no one left that's real So make up your own ending and let me know just how you feel 'Cause I am lost without you, I cannot live at all My whole world surrounds you, I stumble then I crawl You could be my someone, you could be my scene You know that I will save you from all of the unclean I wonder what you're doing, I wonder where you are There's oceans in between us, but that's not very far Can you take it all away? Can you take it all away? Well, you shoved it in my face This pain you gave to me Can you take it all away? Can you take it all away? Well, you shoved it in my face This pain you gave to me Nobo-, nobody told me what you thought Nobody told me what to say Everyone showed you where to turn Told you when to run away Nobody told you where to hide Nobody told you what to say Everyone showed you where to turn Showed you when to run away Can you take it all away? Can you take it all away? Well, you shoved it in my face This pain you gave to me Can you take it all away? Can you take it all away? Well, you shoved it in my face This pain you gave to me, no This pain you gave to me This pain you gave to me Can you take it all, take it all away? This pain you gave to me Can you take it all away? This pain you gave to me Can you take it all away? This pain you gave to me

Say what you will about Puddle of Mudd, that harmonic guitar riff is seriously underrated. I saw them play at the MuchMusic awards when this song was big and that part was prerecorded, so I assumed the band used studio magic (of course in that performance, Wes was playing guitar). Good to see a performance where it's actually being performed live

So cool how he sings I lower registers in this video . I can totally empathize how his performance depends on his mood on any certain day . Magnificent!!
