This is a song from the 1979 film The Muppet Movie, with music and lyrics written by Paul Williams and Kenneth Ascher.
I asked our friend, Petra Haden, to sing all the parts of the orchestration. Petra is an incredible artist and the absolute coolest.

I was in college when The Muppet Movie came out and even though this was a "kids" movie, I loved this song ( as with the Muppets ) and every time I hear it, I have very fond memories. Thanks Puddles (and Petra Haden) for allowing me a fond memory in the middle of the week.

This is a big achievement due to the fact I lost my Grandma a two days ago.... You made me smile. Because I know she would be smiling with me because of this performance. I recall that Petra Haden once hired 7 or 8 other ladies to do a tour with her. They performed the songs on The Who's Sell Out album, a cappella. Was pretty good, considering that they only used their voices, no instruments. Here, she does 3-part harmony stuff herself, while Puddles does the main melody. I am glad that she was willing to work on this with him.
