I am super mad ships are only the bottom part, but the game looks super good overall and i love the 2 buildings, more i think is too much set up and painting for me.

Oh in the standard yeah, but you could get someone to 3d Print some!

@BoardGaymesJames even if you print the masts there is no way of adding them to the base, it is only build for the resources and there is no space. Unless printing entirely new ships.

All-in. I'm not sure why I need Acrylic pieces and 3d tokens.

I am on the Special Edition base right now, i think the thick cardboard will be nice enough, and I love the idea of the terrain but seeing it in action it might be blocking the view of a lot of worker placement spots :/

It’s also not two player supported either but as a special launch we don’t know maybe a new expansion makes it solo or two player friendly. Launches September 12

Puerto rico 1897 is a 2-5 player game where as the original is 3 -5 player game. The special edition will be rremastered of the 1897 edition so it is 2 player game. Also there are alot of 2 player veriants on bgg to find , official and unofficial variants.

Rest assured that the Gamefound campaign says it’s 1-5 players. There is a solo mode.
