45 years ago I was working on a cruise ship in the Caribbean, and a local Puerto Rican performer (Ismael Miranda) was kind enough to invite a couple of us to come see El Yunque with him. Such generosity - and he was justifiably proud of this amazing natural wonderland. Forever etched in my memory, forever grateful.

So I'm not sure what you were experience was the website being down, because we are headed there in March and what you need to do is get reservations EXACTLY 30 days before the day you want to visit. I thought I'd let anyone else know that is planning a trip there. It might look like the dates are "not available" but that's only because 1 day is available every day...the day 30 days out from now if that makes sense.

We've had that. At a concert in the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. We had tickets, but had to go in the wheelchair line. Once inside, all 5 of us could walk through to the VIP DEK. With champagne and everything. Greetings from Spakenburg, the Netherlands Gerben T and Gabriëlle.

I absolutely love you guys I've been watching your channel for years and I just want to express the same frustration when foreigners come to America and decide not to learn the language it's very frustrating because they didn't take the time to prepare so that they could communicate properly so when he hung up on you it's pretty much like us having to learn a different language just to have other people come to our country it's not really fair... Please don't get me wrong I absolutely adore you guys both but I think that you should take the time to learn the language and not be frustrated when they can't understand you it's not up to them to learn English anyway it was still fun to watch your struggles and your triumphs I love that you guys share the good and the bad and the ugly and I look forward to every week to watching you guys so please don't be offended by my opinion I look forward to your next post thank you guys so much for sharing ❤️🤗🚐❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Back in the 70's my parents took my two brothers and I to Puerto Rico, one of the days we escaped the hotel and went to the Rain Forest. It's one of the memories i have from growing up that only I remember now. Thank you for sharing your story today and bringing me back to that time with my brothers, and my parents. Rio de Janeiro - São Paulo states by the sea...you need to go up and down to get to many beaches ...and you feel the feeling of being in the change of tem temperature and raining weather ...totally different from the weather at the beach...but also fool of special views.

Love the video Puerto Rican are know for being kind they always do things like that my grandmas would always cook extra just in case a random person came by and had nothing to eat next time follow the flow so it could be a cycle of kindness that will never end there’s a term thats says Puerto Rico lo hacer mejor thats no luck is the beauty of PR.

Guys we watched your show and we're very glad you were able to get into El Yunque. We did not see any scenes of "La Mina" which is a great waterfall and is located at the lowest point of El Yunque, it is truly beautiful, it is allowed to bathe and feel the force of the waterfall on you.

When my husband took me to PR for the first time, we went to El Yunque. It is beautiful. We didn't have to get any permit at the time, but this was in the 1980s.

My wife and I went to Puerto Rico for our 30th anniversary and did the switchback trail up to Mount Britton tower last May. It was like walking on a stair climber on maximum tension for over 2 hours! We made friends with the locals and got tons of tips for things to do. It was our first trip there, but definitely not the last! 🇵🇷

Kindness: A man, Osiris, is guiding me to a repair shop in Tijuana, Mx to fix the back window of my car at 3pm today. The elevator motor is not working and when I drive the window opens. We’re having lots of rain here in Rosarito Beach. He’s guiding me there so he can talk to them in Spanish. I pay Mexican prices $35 and can pay with a credit card, and it should be fixed in one hour. Rain showers are forecasted for tomorrow. I’ll be able to find my way back home before dark. I am a single woman living alone here with my cat speaking a little Espanol. I feel so blessed to have the help. Years ago visiting Puerto Rico, after living on St. Thomas, USVI, my boyfriend and I took the public bus to the airport, pennies compared to the taxi. We had so much fun on the bus with the people and chickens-a great adventure. Love you two, B & D.

I love your videos, but what you perceive as a random act of kindness, could also be disguised as corruption. From your experience, a random person paid for people like you, but alternatively, the park realises the reality of the difficulties you have to go through and uses that as an excuse to NOT refuse you entry, and double their revenue. Either way, I'm happy it worked out! Just be aware!
