This show is so wonderful. I didn’t grow up in the age of when this show was made, in fact I’m still a teenager. Yet I am still so grateful my dad showed this to me as a kid. There’s so many lessons and just wonderful things these shows provided and I didn’t even realize it back then. This show is so magical that looking back on it is the craziest sense of nostalgia ever. It’s so sad knowing modern day kids have to grow up with trashier shows.

Puff was truly a great show to watch as a kid. If only there were many episodes, and not just three.

I was born in 82. I’m autistic high functioning and write my own piano music but anyways I had to watch this movie every day lol or I’d cry starting in preschool to 2nd grade it has that special place in my heart and I even wrote my song heart of the sleeping dragon in memory of my first favorite cartoon. I still own my childhood book of this exact movie. It even has sheet music in the book.

Same here, but I was born in 93. My grandmother had a VHS of it that I watched until it was unplayable.

Wow! I can't believe I found this! I remember watching this on VHS all the time as a young child! I was born in 1987, so my parents likely rented it from Blockbuster Video in the early 90s, or they probably found it for cheap in a bin at the grocery store and bought it for me, but I remember watching it all the time with a bunch of other obscure cartoons that are now just vague memories in my mind. I'm so happy I found this! I can't wait to sit and watch it with my 1yo niece and pass along the magic of Puff!

Man, direct hit right to my childhood. I loved this special as a kid, and it still holds up. ❤

For years, I could've sworn this had a scene at the end where the piano teacher reappeared at the concert and congratulated Terry. Weird how those false childhood memories can feel so distinct!

I definitely saw this one as a child, yet for some reason the only part I could remember was the bit where he's eating soup at the start.

I didn't even know about The Land of Living Lies and The Incredible Mr. Nobody until I had came across them on KZbin. Of course, they were uploaded by someone else at the time.

I didn't like how those kids and teachers put down Terry's creativity, causing him to bottle them up. I've known people who frown on other's talents and thoughts like that and wants them to be normal like everyone else.

I'm 37, and I'm dealing with that now. I've dealt with it my entire life. I'm stuck working a job I hate while my potential goes totally neglected.

Yes, especially the teacher. Telling him he had to paint real trees and houses, not spaghetti. He’s a kid, for Christ’s sake! Let him use his imagination! You want him to just be a mindless drone? Seriously, someone must have been high on cocaine to give her a teacher’s certificate because she has no clue how to deal with kids, especially bright, creative ones like Terry.
@hawkeyepierce70353 күн бұрын
I know! Especially the teacher! Geez, let the poor kid use his imagination! Didn’t your elementary education professors ever teach you that creativity in kids is a GOOD thing and should be encouraged???
