The reason you can’t summon torrent is because he’s a spirit and technically doesn’t ever die when you have to resummon him with a flask, however, the frenzied flame can literally melt spirits. That means a final death for any spirit caught by the frenzied flame.

Most content creators do this, I'm guessing they do it so people can't claim they cheated. You can use mods on PC to easily get bosses low and then just pretend you fought them legit the whole time.

​@@brentonarp322that's not the reason.. can you imagine having to watch 40+ deaths and one good run? Like Puffer said, most of the deaths is just you learning the move sets and improving. Having like 10-20 quick cuts from just deaths into having that one last perfect run that ends up defeating the boss is more rewarding to the viewer. (I, personally, would never watch a game like this live unless I was playing something on the other screen because some boss runs can easily take hours depending on the player's experience.)
